Hydro Hazards

I really want to throw a Grodan cube in my box for the next round but im so unsure as to how im supposed to take care of it. Yes I know everyone will tell me to go read up on some hydro threads but Im the kinda guy who likes specific answers to his specific questions.

1. Im sure you can overwater, but is it dif. in terms of amnt. since it's that cube?
2. What to do with exposed roots?
3. The clone will come in a micro 3x3x3 cube, once that's taxed the volume of that enough, can i just pop it into a bigger 8x8x8 with some vit. B?

Please be patient, thanks!

The cube is designed to hold a specific amount of moisture. If you were to water to the point of 100% absorption the excess would simply run off the cube.
The roots that venture outside of your cube will die. Roots can't handle direct light. Once you see the first signs of root expose i would say it is time to transplant.
Yes, simply cut out a 9in cubed hole in the top of your new cube and plop it in. water regularly; the roots will penetrate both cubes seamlessly.

cheers!

Hey man, you should look into bubbleponic systems. They use the Cubes and surround with hydroton to keep nutes close to the roots. Send me a PM if anything.

Well, I think its fairly easy to control myself. I always use this line. Its fast and has incredible control of the air during the use of momentum.
I always laugh when I see the dangers in any accident and Thor Rad cat while I go through my humble Trasher.

just plant the cube in hydroton but make sure you take the plastic off of the grow cube so the roots can grow out the sides.

I'm doing a bubblepontic system in 5 gallon buckets. I'm using Rapid Rooter Plugs in a 4" Rockwool Cube in a 6" Net Cup. What will happen if the plastic sleve is not removed??? I left mine on to direct the roots out the bottom. This way the net cup could be removed without hitting the roots.
