yo! recently since my plants have begun flower i have had problems with ph. it will drop from 5.8 to about 4 overnight. i know that normally overfeeding is said to be the culprit for this but i have been feeding less than the recommended dosage by thirty mls since its haze and they cant take much. they were fine until the stretch and thats when it began. there is no burning etc. anybody got an idea? i think they have used all the elements they want and left behind something that drops the ph maybe.

thanks alot

well it turned out it was underfeeding:-P the ph is now very stable again. it was the tell tail sign of overfeeding by the condition of the res e.g water being drank rapidly with a lengthy and rapid drop in ph. anybody with these symptoms with DWC or wilma etc should try to increase the feed if there isnt any other obvious symptoms such as, leaf burn from overfeeding, root rot or algae or other obvious nutrient solution problems/root zone issues.

If your feeding frequency is too high and water is constantly saturating the growing media then oxygen levels become depleted. This drop in oxygen will cause the pH to fall.
this happened to me once.
