Here is the link to the ONLY grow shop in my town....http://grow-hydroponic.com/

Tell me EXACTLY what I should buy so I can prepare my outdoor grow.

* I won't be visiting this plot much if at all (long story)... So I need a recipe that will them the best chance to thrive.

* Native soil is good, with 5.5 inches of rain per month and 90 degree temps during Summer.

* My plot is 20 x 20 feet.

* Strains are Strawberry Haze, Blue Widow and Sour Candy.

THANKS.

rookie u must be real high to get a good grade of bud u will have to visit ur plot
Well, last year I had 3 seeds from some really good schwag. I dug a small 10x5 plot, and added absolutely nothing to the soil. I transplanted 3 half foot plants. My entire summer was spent in another state, and I pretty much forgot about them. I came back early Aug and there were 2 healthy females over 8 feet tall that looked liked christmas trees... I'm 6'3'' and couldn't touch the top of them w/o jumping. The other plant was a 5 foot male; I ripped him up. I harvested on Oct 3 (my birthday) and got a nice stash of stinky-sweet bud.... was very potent, much more than the original bag the seeds came from.

Now granted, we did get plenty of rainy last year... And that plot (as I would find out later) was situated on an old cow pasture. But still, I think I could get a REALLY good crop with some extra effort.

Btw, I live in South Louisiana.

What's you're humidity?

90 degree weather + high humidity = ditch weed IMO

But if you choose to do this, I suggest looking at the organics section and just copy subcool's soil recipe. It's legit.

Really? I thought the dank sativas thrive in that weather- Colombia, Mexico, Thailand, Jamaica... What am I missing here?

Well since you already have your strains picked out and have settled on not tending to them much, there isn't really much anyone can help you with. The only thing I can really suggest is investing in some sort of time released nute and working it into the soil. Fox Farms American Pride or Marine Cuisine would probably be my first choice.

Look into Subcool's Super Soil

It is a good investment and will allow you to visit fewer times

Also 30 is a big number for a self proclaimed newb

And a 20x20 area of solid cannabis WILL stick out

Also 30 full grown plants will be crowded in a 20x20 plot

Id say shoot for 5 female plants

You need to do research as far as what soil amendments to add

Look into: Bat guano, Worm castings, Blood meal, bone meal, fish emulsion, molasses

You should also add perlite and peat moss to aerate the soil and help retain water

Another thing to help retain water is a product called water retention crystals, they absorb water and turn to a rubbery gel

Marine cuisine when you plant. Budswel at mid-july. top dress once a month till your done. Don't fertilize dry. Try to spread them out more. Practice your rain dance.

Piney bob I like your short and easy feeding plan. Do you know what the difference is between marine cuisine and american pride by fox farm? Which one is better to use for outdoor guerilla growing?

If you get plenty of water each summer, Id ammend the soil with some perlite and coco. to aid with drainage and aeration. Id also add in some worm castings. you could top dress some time release fertilizer once in the beginning for veg and once when they start flowering. If you have some longer flowering strains you could hit them twice with the ferts in flower.

i would be looking into soil that retains water instead of mainly drainage if you dont want to have to visit them all that often and think of a way to realse ur nutes, i personally have only ever done guerilla growing once before and where i am it gets way to hot and no where near enough rain to keep them alive without visiting once or twice a day lol

i did a outdoor grow in the mountains once and we didnt take care of them and we went up there to harvest and they were 6 foot males all dead. first they turned all male then the little stream that fed them dried up. lesson learned you gotta check on them at least bi weekly. good luck

<3 Sativa. I bet your Sativa will do ok, it will be wispy and the buds small (as good sativas usually are and it's all relative anyway), but who the hell cares if it does what it's intended? Good luck with your grow. I've seen some creative setups to get water etc to plants but I can't say I am an expert. Running pumps is noisy and can give you away, so can tarps etc. I'd grab some good base soil and some amendments and go to town. Subcool's supersoil is known for having good results, but it can be a pretty hot mix so beware. The sativa you're growing would probably love it.
