Hydrogen PEROXIDE

I love the stuff, but I am wondering how much is excessive? I need to clear up some root rot and or algae. It is obvious that I need to push the limit on peroxide concentration to clear up my problem. Can anyone tell me how much peroxide/gallon will provide maximum cleansing without burning the roots?

Yeah, if you're talking about the drugstore 3% kind, you can use 20-30ml/gallon with little problems. A teaspoon is 5 ml.

I use 1ml per gal in my recirculating flood and drain res and its just perfect to kill off any algae that i may have in there, and it doesn't kill the plants so its a concentration that suit my needs.

This is with the 35% btw the kind you should be using.

yeah definitely rocking the 35%...I hope caligrown was also talking about 35%. I used half of caligrowns recommendation, aka about 5ml/gal of 35%, and that worked fine. It is unclear whether any damage has been done to the roots, but they are loosing algae/grime quickly.
