Hydrophonics?

So I'm wanting to start growing, but I really don't have anywhere to actually grow. Outside is too risky for me, and there are no good places indoors to set up at.

this website I found has these little tent container things that can grow things hydrophonically, or whatever lol, and it seems like I could use this somewhere in my house.

As a newbie at this stuff I don't really have a clue how to how to grow this way, I only know that is doesn't use soil. Sorry for not posting in the hydro section, theres more people here to potentially give me feedback.

Hydroponics is bassically soil-less growing so rather than soil you will use clay, or rock as a medium which get their food from nutrients. for indoors you will need lighting most people if you can afford it buy hps lights as they produce bigger buds than cfl and mh are generally for veg. a system like http://www.bghydro.com/BGH/customkititems.asp?kc=HGSBBR&eq= should be good for a first timer. let me know if you need any other info and ill try to point you in the right dirrection.

maybe you should just dip your toes in the water with a single plant dwc bucket, it's simple, fairly cheap, and great for begginers!
