So, here's my grow. I have a setup called a "hypergrow", I got it at clearance from Home Depot for 25 bucks last summer and grew a huge tomatoe plant. So, this year I decided to give it a go with good ole cannabis. Anyway, it's a really easy system to use and check out the pics. These were taken today. Also of note, I've had this going for about a month now with a ganesh spirit...she was started indoors and looked really poor when she started but she sure perked up the past 2 weeks ...temps have been from a cool 55 to the now really hot 100 + (today it was 105). No heat stress nothing like that. Check out the stem pics too...it's about an inch across and I just topped the girl once about 2 weeks ago. My nutrients are GH Flora series following the schedule on the bottle...cut in half. Plus some free sample supplements that you'll see in the pics. Also of note, on the secondary grow area towards the bottom there are 8 cannabis plants 3 flash jet auto and 5 of my own blend...a cross of blue hash and black jack.

Let me know what you thinkIMG_4300.jpgIMG_4302.jpgIMG_4303.jpgIMG_4304.jpgIMG_4306.jpgIMG_4305.jpgIMG_4307.jpgIMG_4310.jpg
I'll post updates every few days or so. Any comments or advise is welcome

Hey nice clean setup. One bit of advice i can give you is not to top anymore, that should be done early in the plants life otherwise you are splitting a stem into a bunch of smaller stems that could potentially cause your plant to become overgrown in itself. The topping is good because it creates new branches that may grow into colas but it has to be done during a certain time in a plants life for it to recover fully and provide thick stoutier branches for buds to develop into more massive flowers.

Thanks 420 for the advise, always welcome. Actually I only topped once about 2 weeks ago, just above where the spray nozzle is...that's it and I'm not doing any more! I'm wondering just how big that baby will get...the reservoir holds 8 gallons and I have to fill it every 3 days now!

Looking great! I would love to run an outdoor hydro with my Rainforest 66 but the res would fill up too quickly with 6 plants in it. I still have yet to finish anything in it. LOL

I used it earlier this season to root a few clones.

Thanks! That looks like a sweet setup...maybe try just 1 plant? I'll bet mine will drink most of that 8 gallons every day when it gets bigger.

I'm amazed at how well they are thriving in the heat and they are in the full sun at least 10 hours a day!!! Thanks for the compliment!

So, yesterday I did a complete res change (8 gallons) and added new nutes...the res was down almost 1/3 today, this plant drinks a lot of water!!! TDS around 1200...haven't really checked ph at all.

For how hot its getting your plants are going to be using a lot of water for sure. Try to never let that res get below half if you can to keep your TDS on the mark. Get up on checking that pH out! pH and alkalinity are they two most important things out of the 1000's of other things to worry about. They are what have the biggest effect on how much you are going to get during your harvest and the quality of it.

Awesome advise, thanks! I have to add water to the reservoir every other day now but the plants are thriving!

Picture update later today

They have a few of these tucked away in the rafters at my local home depot. No price tags near it. I wish I could get one for 25 bucks. : (

you should talk to a manager, they discontinued those things a while back...they would give you a great price on them I bet.

So, here's a quick update...she drinks about 1/2 the 8 gallon reservoir every other day. Nutrients are still GH flora 3 part straight off the bottle amounts but now cut by only 1/3. Notice the flowering autoflowers and the size of the main stem. IMG_4595.jpgIMG_4596.jpgIMG_4597.jpgIMG_4598.jpgIMG_4599.jpgNot much going on now other than vegging on the main plant...i'd like to get about a 1/2 to 1 pound off this girl onve she flowers...

it's been a while since the last update. The girl has really taken off the past 10 days....she's gotten a lot taller and has now started to showing pistils...I estimate an end of september-middle of october harvest. She drinks half the 8 gallon reservoir every day. Using the same nutes from the beginning, GH flora 3 part, straight off the label instructions. Comments welcome as well as any advice or tips. Oh, yeah, almost forgot...i added pics of my bush cucumber plants growing outdoors in a 10 gallon rubbermaid tub.IMG_4622.jpgIMG_4626.jpgIMG_4625.jpgIMG_4624.jpgIMG_4621.jpgIMG_4620.jpgIMG_4619.jpgIMG_4618.jpgIMG_4617.jpgIMG_4616.jpgIMG_4615.jpgIMG_4614.jpgIMG_4627.jpg

:weed:Well, here it is another update. Haven't updated in a while. The Ganesh Spirit is growing super fast and has developed lots of preflowers. There a 4 smaller plants around the base of the hypergrow and i believe at least 1 of them will be a male, so he'll have to be chopped. I also included some pics of my lettuce (the small cups) and my cucumbers and a pic of some great soil.IMG_4694.jpgIMG_4962.jpgIMG_4961.jpgIMG_4960.jpgIMG_4964.jpgIMG_4959.jpgIMG_4963.jpgIMG_4958.jpgIMG_4957.jpgIMG_4700.jpgIMG_4693.jpgIMG_4965.jpgIMG_4962.jpgIMG_4962.jpg
