I remember back in 1975, I went to see Led Zeppelin at the Montreal forum. Tickets were 5 bucks and you could buy joints outside in the park for $2 each or 3 for $5.00.Pot was $35.00 an oz, but it had seeds and stems. You used to get stoned smoking and the seeds would explode...kind of freak the shit out of you.

God, now I remember $35 oz. reg pot! I have a satin comboy type shirt with seed holes everywhere! Yes, I was a dork back in the day - but now I'm cool - LOL!

Used to skip my first class in high school so we could roll 30 joints each or so. Take them to school and sell them for $1 each. More paper than pot but beat the shit out of a real job.

In the Uk Afghan black was readily available until the early nineties, red leb faded out aroundin the late 80's. The first smoke I ever had was a single skinner with red leb when I was 15/16 (1989) Im not that old!!! lol.
Do/did you guys ever get any minali or charis from India?

i love this thread.... 53 yrs young, i started smokin at 12 yrs old., harvested my first crop at 17 in la honda. we planted every seed we had, nobody was looking for pot feilds back then.

Being a life long weed head gives you a distinct advantage for thinking and acting "outside the box". i wouldn't have it any other way.
