damn, is that all foil or mylar?
The stuff on the buckets is aluminum tape to block the light out of the bucket!

Kind of expensive but it is the only way I had to completely make the buckets light proof...(I couldn't find black buckets in time).

I have all the drains connected and connected to a reservoir (a 4th bucket). That way I can circulate the water, and also just check the PH in the res and add water /nutes / stuff to just the res and then can circulate it to the 3 flower pots.

I will try to post a pic when I get off work in a few hours so you can see it.

I could have more plants but I am going to do a ScRoG. WIth a Scrog I think 3 should be enough...If it doesnt work well, I will go 4 next time but I think 3-4 is plenty for a 4x4 scrog.

I am using 3 airpumps (each with 2 outlets). Theyre pretty much just cheap airpumps from a hydro shop, I think they were 15 bux each. Each one controls 2 airstones. That way if one diaphram on the pump goes out, the other one will still be running...

I'll post up a couple more pics so you can see it better.

About the mylar VS Foil tape: It doesnt matter, it won't burn your plants...The idea is just to keep light out...The lights are shining right on the foil tape now and it isnt hot. All you need to do is keep light out of the bucket.Period.

Nice grow bro!!

Here is a pic of the res / control bucket.

Also a pic of a pump you can use easily with your current grow, it is what I am using now. I just like to circulate the water a little...and it makes draining / filling the system easier.

To circulate you can just put a line into the rers., and a line into one plant bucket and pump a little bit..It mixes up the solution enough (IMO)....Without doing that it seems like the PH and PPM are different in the res / flower buckets. It is probably not necessary but oh well...It seems to stay very stable so I am sticking with it.

The 1st pic is my res / control bucket

The second pic is the pump...The pump costs $10.99 at ace hardware by itself, and with the kit is like $15.00.
(I am going to get a better / permanent puimp...but for 10 bux fuck it, that one will be ok for right now.)

Talk to you soon!
