Dump on me, if you like, but without much research, I bought a 3 ft. hydroponics "grow box" for 250 usd off the internet and when I received it, I realized that the other dimensions were only 8 1/2" deep and 16 3/4" wide. It came with a plastic basin, 3 lights labeled "grow" and a pack of 3 - 13w coil-shaped bulbs labeled "flower". I have two baggies with a small amount of aqua-blue granuals in each. One is labeled "grow" and the other labeled "flower". I'm hip to the grow and flower stages, but my biggest question is about the dimensions of the box. The basin has six different spaces in it. I know if I grow six plants, then there is not enough room for them to reach the budding stage. So, is this box large enough to grow one plant to it's full budding stage where I can actually harvest something decent ? The height seems sufficient, but the depth and width seem extremely undersized. I am very green at growing with boxes and hydro in general. I bought this box on a whim and hope to gain knowledge as I go. Can someone please lend me any info they have. I don't expect to get a college professor here to fill me in on everything, but if you can lend a small amount of your experience, I would be very grateful. Thanks in advance. Hope to hear from some of you.

A small SOG or SCRoG is what your after, throw in six clones or seedlings and 12/12 (use the flower bulbs) from the start if your looking for SOG; If your after a bigger yield you can veg a little (2 weeks or so, I would only use three plants) with some LST or HST and a screen and you will get a descent yield for your space..depending on experience!

I really appreciate your info here. I took your info and did a little more reading. I'm understanding some things I had never realized before. Hopefully, with due diligence, I can become decent at this and have some fun. Thanks to all others for their input.
