Yes. The more light the better.

thanx m8 ,just noticed tho that its got "100pcs 3w grow led's" on the back of the unit so do you think its still worth firing in with the dual spectrum hps im using...
i know the hps is just a fraction blue spectrum and mostly red so am i right in thinking that adding more blue in there wont increase yields but will or could in theory produce better bud.?

That's a loaded question, there's always another option that's better in one way or another.

100 x 3w = 300 then 300 / 2 = 150ish actual draw in wattage. When I started with LED, I bought from HTG, called and asked a salesman that either did not know or just lied. he told me 240w meant it drew 240w. first results sucked. lights did too, they all dead within 3 years, started dying right away half a light at a time. I get 5w diodes now. straight from the factory. stay cool and my electric is cut in half. for actual draw I still get about 3-4 oz of dry, per 3-4 ft plant. you can grow them right into the lights almost too. the smaller lights I have, the 3w ones, I have hanging on sides to get the lower parts of plants. good luck, hope my info helps you or anyone :+) edit: I have a total of 6 plants under 1200w actual draw led. 8 foot tent. I have room on end to trim inside of tent to save the smell for neighbors, neighborhood... :+)

Idk what this guy is talking about. You should read a few threads and get the lights that actually work. None of those chinese 3W/5W 'straight from the factory' junk panels will be worth the electricity it takes to power the toasters. For example, you could check out Area 51 or try a DIY COB build and get something infinitely better than the panels you're considering.
