I got spiders, no mites though

A few days I noticed a spider in my grow room. not very big, about 1/2" across. I left him be since he eats bugs and I hate bugs!

Yesterday I noticed another spider, same species but a little smaller.

Has anyone experienced problems with spiders before, or is it a good idea to let these little blood suckers feast away on potential pests?

spiders can be the gardeners friend.

just keep an eye on things, spiders like to weave there webs where there's food, so odds are if theres spiders there something else you havent seen yet. though they might be going after flying insects attracted to the lights

that's what im hoping for. I have a few gnats that i've been controlling with fly strips but since i've seen the spiders, the gnats are almost non-existent.
