i hear you on the heat m8.. i went to an outdoor concert last night.. it must have been 100 degrees under the roof with no air movement at all, on top of about 90% HUmidity..
the most fun i had all night was playing in the sprinkler.. felt like i was going to pass out the rest of the night..

It was 106 yesterday over here in TX. Some rain came in for about 2 mins (weird). Too bad I missed my chance to have a rare rain dance.

i agree. fuck heat and fuck humidity. we get that shit sometimes but at least it's only for a few days every couple of weeks and not all summer. the problem with this of course is that when the heat does come we're not really used to it, and then when we do get used to it it's back to the 70s and suddenly we're shivering.

the upside is when someone who is visiting from florida tags along on a trip to the beach and goes diving into the water only to realize that despite 98 degree weather the water temp is about 3 degrees above freezing*. that is priceless.

*this is sarcasm. water temps are actually around 60 degrees. it feels damn cold, though.

Got family with a camp in northern Maine on a spring fed pond that never get's over 68 degrees. Great fishing but, major shrinkage during skinny dipping!

Yeah the ocean is never anything nice up here unless your in southern Maine. Once you go up a third of the state freezing water. 62 is good when your up by Acadia.

not only that, but the "beaches" up there leave a lot to the imagination.. where she's at the town is right on the ocean and they have a super small beach, but it's not very sandy and has tons or small rocks and shit...
i guess i'm just used to the jersey beaches where you have to walk for like half an hour to get to the water some of the beaches are so wide here..

Mostly rocky shit up here unless in southern Maine. But, We do have the best lobster on the planet!
lol, yah, the first time i was up there i kept seeing all of these big metal things in people's front yards and shit, so i asked my gf wtf they were and she explained to me that they're lobster traps, lol...
she did get some of the best, freshest lobster i have every tasted, and best of all, the prices up there are crazy cheap for lobster as well..

Yeah 3.88 a pound right now. But. if you go to the wharfs when the lobsterman come in they are 5 bucks a piece for their big ones. Cash money works up here. Funny about your lack of knowledge of lobster traps. Up here we call you guys Flatlanders! No offense though bro I was born and raised in the Bronx till 15.

Maine lobsters are the real deal. Those tropical ones don't even begin to compare. It's Kush v. Brick, and I 'm not a mason. cn

Even the local stores up here give you 4 small ones for 20 bucks. They are quite easy to rip apart but, pretty depressing when you see the big claw and it's only a quarter filled with meat. All good though!
