I have 2 closets - 1 for flowering and 1 for veg, but how...?

Can I get a system going ? I don't want to keep clones in the vegging room for 2+ months waiting on the flowering plants to finish.

===================================

Flowering closet:

- 5x2

- 300w HPS (2 150w)

Veg Closet:

- 3x2

- A few 23w "blue" CFL's

====================================

The problem is I have 6 strains. Three are already in the flowering closet vegging (3wks). The other 3 are in the mail, and will be here within the week.

Already vegging in 3 gal pots:

Blue Widow - 8wk flowering

Sour Candy - 10wk flowering

Strawberry Haze - 10-11wk flowering

In the mail:

Cindy 99 - 8wk flowering

Bubblegummer - 9wk flowering

Pineapple Express - 9wk flowering

====================================

I do plan on keeping the strains I like, and not cloning the buds I don't like as much, but I can't say now what the final number of strains will be.

So how would you do this?

Subz, I'm heading into the same position.

But I was thinking. If you are cloning then its like 2 weeks waiting for the clones to grow roots than another another month and a half in veg(so its only 2 weeks more). I don't know, seems that way will work the best with 2 closets.

it seems the veg room is too small to partition.

one thing you can do is veg those ladies for a long time and train them, basically bonsai the plant until it is in the perfect shape for flowering. this might involve root pruning to keep the plant healthy.

good problem to have, i must say.

What about some kind of continuous harvest - like every month harvest half the flowering plants and replace them w/ vegged clones? Do you think 1 month is enough time to root and veg a clone for flowering?

If so, how big of pots/growbags would I need... 1 gallon?

first you need to work with strains whose flowerng time will work with what you wanna do.

then you gotta figure out how much you want to get and how often.

if you have 8 weeks strains..... you could have it so you are harvesting a few every week or two and replacing them so its a continual cycle.

so you have a mom, clone it....root them....veg them for a week or put them in flower once the root. when your putting them in flower, clone some more.....root them.
a week or 2 goes by, the original clones are 2 weeks flowering....the new clones are rooted....veg for the week(if you did for the first ones) or put in flower.....
repeat every week or 2 ... just have to remember to cut your clones at the right time so the timing matches up.
you do it til you meet you plant count (thats divided evenly by the 8 weeks)

how big r u flowering ur plants now? how big is ur growspot?

lol yea dumb I see it now...for some reason i was not reading it cuz I put it off as just the lights and wattage haha.

yea i got about the same size cupboard my micro is in.

you could do alight in there with the two 150s

might not cover the whole 5 feet but a good 3-4.

if you keep them small straigh to flower from root. or small veg. you can be doing 3-4 in the 2 ft width.

not bad if your harvesting three or four 7-13g+ nugs every week or two.

i veg 6 plants in my veg room, 4 plants in flower, 2 plants go in everymonth and 2 are finished every month. i stick with indica only strains. 2 of my plants always end up veging 2 months. i supercrop and top in veg. i use a 400 watt hps and pull 3-4 oz a month. gonna try and up to a 600 watt and try and pull 6-8 oz a month...
