I Have an electrical wiring question!

Hi,

I recently decided to build my own led. Tons of research has gotten me very far. I am currently wiring the fans to the power supply but I can't get them to work.

I bought a 12v dc 2.0A power supply and four 12v dc 0.29A fans.

Weird part, I wire three to the supply and it works like a charm. when I wire the fourth fan to the power supply all the fans start the spin and die over and over until I unplug the fourth fan.

Another weird part, If I wire three fans to the power supply then plug it in the three fans run and I can connect the fourth without them dieing and spining and dieing.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Need more juice from power supply, either power supply is overrated, or fans are drawing more current than they should. Hook up three as they work and get a radio shack plug to power the other one. In my salvation army store I can get those plugs for a $1.00 but I have bunch of them around the house from all past electronic devices like phones, etc. Last 15 years just about anything runs on 3-12V power, plugs are everywhere if you know where to look.
