I have like 50 seeds

from my friend's recent grow. He said 2 of his female's must have caught some random male pollen.

The seeds he gave me are two different colors, so I'm assuming that there were two different strains (ones dark and ones light)

If I figure out how to tell which seed is which strain, is there a way to sell seeds?

I'm not even sure if this is the right area for it.

they are all magical and will grow the best cannabis this world has ever seen, thats why they are 2 colors. Ill buy them all send them to 1600 Pennsylvania avenue, Washington DC 90210

i find your initial thread to be insulting.

& ridiculous.

what do you think we're all stupid stoners living with mom & dad?

maybe we just buy random seed made from any closet growing hobbit? let alone from some dude we dont know?

did you break off 5% to see if they germ? stupid stoners call that germination test to check the % of childrens to no shows.

maybe grow a few out... you know... to tell us what we'll get for the $krilla.

man. i'd so ban you.

& how.

Does not compute.....

Look bro, I've never grown. I'd never even owned seeds until yesterday....I'm not trying to insult anyone I was just asking to see if you can sell seeds? I have occasionally get a seed or two in my sacks I've always just thrown them away. But I keep seeing those banners for that company that sells seeds, and I was just checking to see if seeds WERE actually sellable.

I'm sorry for not knowing a lot about seeds and how they work? (no im not)

I agree. Most likely one or more the plants was a bad hermie. I usually toss the hermie seeds. I recently crossed a good solid White Widow male with four different feminized strains. One of the feminized strains, Blueberry Gum had a hermie tendency. The others were OK. I tried three seeds of each variety in my next grow. Wouldn't you know it, the BG ended up all being hermies, which I could ID really fast. The other strains appear to be going fine.

So...the seeds I have are pretty much worthless? Like if I was going to change my walk in closet into a grow room, these seeds wouldn't be worth it? In what ways wouldnt it be worth it? I'm just going to be using miracle gro (i was taught the right way to use it) and my friends older average lighting set up. I just want a super cheap, fun way to grow for my first time, and If i dont have to buy lighting or seeds, that would be amazing.

Again, this is serious, I'm not trolling or Getting mad or disrespecting anyone. =]

I'm not so sure how credible this post is due to (lack of) sentence structure and grammar.

I keed I keed.

But seriously anyone else?

I know what a hermie is, but I'm not sure the disadvantages of using the seeds to grow.
What they are saying is, nobody gives a shit about your seeds. Meaning, their genetics are questionable at best and nobody is going to pay you for them, especially at risk of getting ripped off, arrested, etc. Easier to deal with a reputable seed bank.

For you though, they could be extremely valuable. If they germinate and end up being female, that is.

Finally a straight forward answer.....So the best thing to do would be to plant them? I'm guessing I would have to do it in the spring....although its never less than 72 in my house....

the only real way to tell if those seed are good is to place 2 seeds above your microwave on a sheet of computer paper. turn microwave on defrost.
within 4-5 minutes the seeds that are real good should be floating above the microwave about 6 inches. grab them out of the air and keep till your ready to plant.

If you're just doing a run to get a feel for growing then grow some, it doesn't matter if they might go hermie on you cause you're not breeding them, you can get experience growing and might get a whole lot of female plants out of it. and why would you wait until spring to grow them inside? I don't quite understand that part of your reasoning...

cuz a couple parts of the house (including the part id grow in) don't have central heating vents, and can get to 50 degrees in the room. I guess lights provide some heat, but in dark time? =\
