It takes a very smart man to stand before a country and explain a system which no one understands clearly, consistency and with proof.
To see him do this without much aid from his notes and to see how calm he was in making his point, speaks with volume!!!.
The crown on the other hand... could not spit his double talk fast enough from his notes.

It should be very interesting to see how they rule on this.
It just seems to big of a deal to rule on without a plan ....................... Tousaw has a plan it seems and it makes sense compared to the nonsense of our Government and HC.

Tooo obvious for me.
I am trying to be optimistic but everyone thought mernaugh was a slam dunk win too and he lost.
It will be interesting to see the outcome of these recent cases but id hold off on celebrating just yet

i wonder what curve will be thrown so we lose...I hate to be negative but i think because this is the last fight, they might win.
if you win all the appeals but lose the "big one" what recourse is there? success all they way & lose one & it's over. that doesn't sound right

It wouldn't be the first time our Government didn't agree with our courts and went out of their way with some backassward deal to screw everyone...except them of course.

who do they work for again??????? :bigjoint:

They work for themselves just like every other government in the world.
People run and get electd into poliitcs to further their own agendas.
Once elected they do what suits them and their friends first. By then they are replaced and live on a pension that is five times the average persons pensions.

Think organized crime cept with a flag and catchy slogan

It is for the crown to prove that the lower courts erred...to this point only one side is appealing....it's getting old and Beverley is listening....every argument the government has come up with to stop people from ingesting this herbal medicine we see fit has been denied. The governments attempt to have thousands, if not hundreds of of thousand of dollars worth of medicine mixed with kitty litter and thrown to the curb, denied....the winds are turning....there's an election in the air....and the Supreme Court WILL RULE at the end of the day in the interests of the people...it is their mandate.

Yes I think there couldn't have been a better legal team tackle this. I have a feeling we are going to see cannabis a NHP in about four months. IMO
