I have two seeds in one pot; separate now?

I have just germinated and noticed I must have planted 2 seeds together in soil; should and when to separate?

I would separate them soon before their roots get entangled. However, you can grow as many seeeds as you want in one pot. The downfall to this is they will compete with each other for nutrients and space. One year I planted 20 in a huge pot just for fun, and they all had 1 nice cola each :)

Peace out

And how do you compensate for the males? Chop them and leave the dead root matter?

Pull them up (which could pull other roots, but shouldn't) or you could also cut them right after the 1st node & check them daily for new male flowers, which can be taking off manually. I've only done this with all female seeds or clones so I've never had to mess with the males :)

If you want to create your own mixed strains this would be a decent way to do so.

So, if you kill the males what happens to the dead roots in the pots over the next 3 months while the girls are flowering?

while waiting to determining sex after a month of veg. Pull it up and it won't pull other roots, I think you are mistaken. I was simply pointing out this is not a good practice and for you think about what you are broadcasting.
Yes it can be done if you have known females and large enough pots. But that wasn't stated earlier.

I was just pointing out what is possible. You could grow a plant in your gutter if you feel like. Ideally 1 plant per pot is what everyone does, but like I said you do not have to go by this standard. Growing a bunch of plants in 1 big pot can be done successfully. Getting ride of males if necessary is easy enough to do.

If it was "easy to do " why doesn't everyone do it? Because it is not a good idea it will stress the other plants or leave dead root matter. Both are no good. Known females go for it.

Sure it is easy to do, I never once said it was the wise thing to do.

To whomever original posted, grow your herb however you like. Read the Marijuana Bible and decide for yourself which method you prefer. Anything is possible if you put your mind to it.

Don't kill the males - plant them in your local park. For the lulz. Maybe they'll somehow magically mate with an oak tree and create a cannabis tree.
