I just need a vegg light !! Advise on 100$t5

So I'm done with my grow room !!, I built a small room
4' wide 6' long 5' high , I plan on doing scrog !!
6plants at a time
i am going to get a 400 cfm fan and carbon filter for smell&temp
so I have been looking at lights for a few days , I need suggestions
i do have 600hps I will flower with , but I like the blue red spectrum of the t5
my local grow store sucks , so any links to a good fan, filter , and t5 light
i have about 100$ to spend on each !
Im thinking 4 bulb 4' t5 red blue spectrum
im open to suggestions

I just did a search and can't find what you are looking for. That said do you have an electronic ballist that can do HPS and MH? If so why not take a look at MH or CMH? I just saw a Lumatek LK600 ballist for $150...not cheap, but not a bad investment for the future. Can you borrow some bucks? Just looking around...also I do not think a 2' T-5 is a very good idea in case someone suggests that.

Also FOR PRICE COMPARISION look at Grener's and plantlightinghydro for fans and filters and a ratchet rope if you need one.

Listen to Brother Numsi. You need to save up a few bucks anyway..might as well get the Lumatek. I mean a decent 4 bulb t5 is going to end up costing almost the same thing. Not $100 for sure. Also, I think you're forgetting about bulbs. Don't just expect your t5 to come with the spectrum of bulbs you want.

Bottom line: Start savin $$$

I have a hdrofarm old school 600 hps works ok !
I can re wire it to take mh but I'm not going that way

Im a new 215 patient , I am allowed 6 plants

I saw some jokes on eBay !!
I don't want knock off stuff that will burn my house down !!

Ok 125$ what should I get ? Mh cool tube 400w , what would you buy.!!

Given the budget and given that this is for veg and a bit of flower (I'd do it for 2 weeks) I'd buy these:

I would do it differently, but I stayed withing your parameters. Shipping is prolly $10-$20 best guess.
You can always add some smaller inexpensive CFL. Whatcha think? Can always get a less expensive reflector or forget the reflector and buy a couple 200 watters and use them bareback.

You can't go wrong with what Hotrod said as far as the Quantum T-5 systems...they are badass. I have another suggestion and would be interested in Hotrod's and Superstoner's takes....I like to buy for the future when I can so I'd go with the Lumatek LK-600 ballast and a CMH or MH bulb for veg. The Lumatek is an electronic dial a watt ballast that handles both types of lights.

You cannot make a mistake here, so do what is most comfortable. Also get one of these:

The electric bill will be a bit less with the T-5 and there will be less heat. If you go with the T-5 then get two of the ratchet ropes.

Either 600 CMH or MH are excellent for veg. Also there are now bulbs available in MH with the restrictive glass barrier already removed for using the last 2 weeks of flowering to increase THC with increased UVB light. Buy on Amazon or ebay fairly cheap - you're only use the last 2 weeks of flowering. The ones with barrier glass removed that is.

So if I went with a bad boy , I would still need bulbs ?
Where can I pick up these bulbs , it would be cool if I could pick up the blue and red bulbs together!

I went to lowes today the bulbs they had for growing were aquarium
bulbs , they came in 2' and 4'
12$ -20 not bad, I want to be able to get a spare bulb I case a bulb dies!!

Free 60x microscope Led!!
