Lots of applicants, only a few approvals.

It is going to be extremely frustrating for both doctors and patients when there are many LP's approved and the patient wants to try something new .. having to keep bringing in different 'medical forms' to get signed for each company. There really should be some sort of transfer system between approved LP's.

116 days 23 hours and 39 minutes 3 seconds until they can ship something

This is starting to sound like a broken record. Idk how HC figures they can do a transition on April 1 when there is not going to be anything to transition to.

I got a kick out of that as well. There are only 3 that are actually shipping correct? Cannimed/PPS, PN and Mettrum. The fact is we will never truly know how many patients will sign up or how many new patients come in to the fold. Any number from the government will be some stat, companies won't say boo. Maybe big lps that are trading on the open market could be monitored for their respective values and the rest is speculation.

right now I am treating lp's as a non entity....shipping or not they don't even exist to me...
the whole thing has become somewhat stressful for a lot of informed patients.....
others or new patients I know personally, are all giddy about getting their meds... are less concerned with how...or how much they cost....but they will
once they figure it all out..

Does anyone have any real info on Canna Farms? Who they are, whose behind them, their grower experience, facility set up etc etc etc? Based on what limited info is on their website they seem to be the lesser of the 7 evils right now. Course I'm reserving total judgment until their product is available and their prices finalized. Would be nice to see some transparency and responsibility in this program from smaller growers instead of the lies and bullshit we are fed by these corporate growers in the name of greed.

Yes they will figure it out in short order. Unfortunately, I can't ignore them because if wcb covers the cost, I will have to use one or more of them. The only upside to that is wcb will take their sweet time making a decision and that will allow me time to check out what I need to know about the lps. I am finding it somewhat stressful, but more of a challenge with wcb in the pic.

Here come the excuses...

"Keeping prices low will be a major challenge for all producers under the new system. New regulations call for strict security and quality assurance measures that are expensive to implement. Considering the added expense of packaging, shipping, etc. and it is not surprising that patients are concerned about skyrocketing costs. As reported in the Vancouver Sun, John Conroy, a lawyer, stated "Thousands and thousands of patients are approved to use more than 10 grams a day that's $100 a day at the new rates. No one can afford that." Conroy went on to point out that 60 to 70 percent of approved patients participate in fixed disability programs and will be adversely affected under the new system."

I took it off the above article.

Hey Kgirl...got your approval yet? I'm not accepting big pharma...just seeing the reality of what our government is doing
