I lost my butane supplier!

So the local dollar store is going out of business. My girlfriend is the Queen Bee when it come to extracting THC with butane and she's really sad about this. I can't find butane at a reasonable price anywhere in town. I was getting 12 packs of 300mL cans for $25 and change. Does anyone have an online supplier that can get close to that price? I don't care about the 3x or 5x refined, as I run mine through activated charcoal before it hits the trim, so the cheap shit is fine, as long as it doesn't contain methylpropane or any other nasty fillers.

Someone help or no one around here is going to enjoy my girlfriend's badass honey oil this season. :-o

can I ask what is the diferent between this and iso hash? How come it does not dry all the way like iso hash does? I never get the diference between iso hash, what I thought would be butane hash and honey oil. I just made a batch of iso with 50 percent alcohol with some leftover trim and it is doing some funky shit with the drying. Looks like a green oil. Usually I use 99 percent iso alcohol and shake frozen trim and get a ridiculous low amount of hash but good shit. Barely any green. I am trying some other fun shit. Maybe a butane batch.

The butane has certain ingrdiends that allow THC extraction without the uptake of plant matter, pigments etc. If you are aware of the process of making bubble hash; cold temperatures make trichomes very brittle. I've never actually read it but I believe that in addition to chemical content, the extremely cold temperatures of compressed butane also play a big part in the potency and purity of honey hash.

Alcohol is a hell of a solvent. It not only dissolves the trichomes from the plant matter, but also strips the chlorophyll and numerous other compounds as well and puts them all in the end product. With butane, the expansion from a liquid into a gas drops the tempurature and makes the trichomes brittle enough to be seperated from the plant matter with the pressure of the butane exiting the chamber. Properly made honey oil is ~90% THC. If properly cured, it is malleable and can be handled without a mess in cool weather.

Thanks for the link, guise. The cans I'm used to using are 300mL "Power" brand from Korea.

Be careful, If you keep doing this over and over, it opens up room for error and accident. I saw something that could have been way worse happen, blowing butane down a large tube. I love honey oil, would love to try some of yours........hers..........

im sure most of you know this but you can buy a honey oil extractor and you would use butane with this the same as any home made extractor. i have never used said product but it could increase yield/potency of the final product. the extractor will run you around 40 bucks from what Ive seen.

Honey oil and Iso hash or oil are completely different. Honey oil is is worth 60$ a gram where im from but one big toke and your more baked then from any joint!:bigjoint:

I prefer my home-made tubes. They have a larger capacity and I install a ball valve on the end so I can control pressure, something I've never seen on a Honey Bee.

what is the carbon pre filter you have. did you make it? and if so how? i would really like to have one thnx
In the screw-off cap on my BHO tube (the end with the butane port in it), I have a good amount of ativated charcoal contained by a screen. This way, the butane has to pass through the filter before it gets to the plant material.

ontariogrower, what do you mean by a 'propane-sized' tank of butane? What is it marketed for? I've never heard of a place refilling butane onsite, but I'll check it out.
