I have a real love/hate relationship with trimming.

for the most part I love it... but I hate how long it takes.

I harvested my first grow today, lots and lots of cutting. Definitely nice to sit back and see your work hanging up though, it's just a pain in the ass to get there! :P

does any one else find it strange that we are all on here together cause we love the herb and theres all these people saying they hate this? its an integrated process and well I believe trimming is just as good as smoking in the bigger scheme

Only way I trim, wheeze.
qp took me a few(3ish) hours today. I was interrupted. The Swamplurk and the Swamprush are kind of hard to trim. I hate those tiny fan leaves that have barely a stem to snip, they envelope the buds.

mwooten, that's impressive if that was solo and it's your first grow. I can't stand trimming all day. I mean I have to when I have to but I'd rather leave a few hours in the morning for trimming. Space it out.
Oh yeah, I bought a new chair. My back feels much better after only two days(8-9hours) of trimming.

been trimming 3 or 4 days in a row, can't honestly remember... start at 9AM and go till 7-9PM.... thank god it's pretty much done besides the end processing before curing.

I can't stand trimming anymore. It was cool the first time, but after spending an entire weekend on it, it gets old really fast.

This california hash plant I'm working on now is especially annoying. Been working on it an hour or two here and there. I used to be crazy about getting it all done right at chop time, but lately I've been doing it sporadically while it's drying.

you trimming dry?
Nah.. I chopped down 4 of my trees and dragged them in my house and started trimmin away. My dad freaked out and said when he got home the next day it had to be all gone. So I spent the next 12-13 hours trimming non stop

I find the first couple harvests are usually the most fun, then they seem to die down in fun at it becomes work. Although trimming is slightly different for each strain so if its a new strain I wont mind.
I really lost interest in harvesting when I helped my dudes friend trim about 200 or so in a cold ass warehouse. TOOK FOREVER

Back in June I trimmed for 18 days straight 9-13 hours per day and
continuous radio sounds & the opposite sex did make it more bearable.
Trimming for me is a love/hate relationship when it's your own that your
trimming.
