Potassium (K)
Potassium is involved in maintaining the water status of the plant and the
tugor pressure of it's cells and the opening and closing of the stomata. Potassium is required in the accumulation and translocation of carbohydrates. Lack of potassium will reduce yield and quality.

Potassium deficiency (K).
Older leaves are initially chlorotic but soon develop dark necrotic lesions
(dead tissue). First apparent on the tips and margins of the leaves. Stem and branches may become weak and easily broken, the plant may also stretch. The plant will become susceptible to disease and toxicity. In addition to appearing to look like iron deficiency, the tips of the leaves curl and the edges burn and die.
Potassium - Too much sodium (Na) displaces K, causing a K deficiency. Sources of high salinity are: baking soda (sodium bicarbonate "pH-up"), too much manure, and the use of water-softening filters (which should not be used). If the problem is Na, flush the soil. K can get locked up from too much Ca or ammonium nitrogen, and possibly cold weather.

Figure 13.

Figure 14.

Potassium (K) Toxicity
Usually not absorbed excessively by plants. Excess potassium can aggravate the uptake of magnesium, manganese, zinc and iron and effect the availability of calcium.

hope this helps kinda looks like whats happening to your girls peace, subbed and + rep

Calmag is not going to hurt it, I always try that first. I would top dress with some fresh potting soil and flush with some cal mag in the water.

Alright guys ill try flushing and adding a little calmag today after work. Like i said earlier i have never had this problem before and am interisted to take something from this experience. I dont beleive in bad experiences just learning experiences but with that being said it still is a bit aggravating lol.
And widowess just so i understand u correctly. If it is in fact a (K) deficiency flushing would be my best option right.

a ph a 6 seems a little low, surely as compost becomes more acidic you want to let it go higher? what ph is the run off?

if your run off is 6.4 then its all good good on that front m,ate, just wondered cause compost gets more acid as you progress and sometimes locks up nutes.

Ya know thats what i have always thought but on this paticular one I have experienced high ph problems during the vegatative state. It was very quickly brought back into check but i thought it was kinda odd. This is also my first time using the FFOF wich i must say will be the only thing I use from now on. Happy frog was good to me but Fox Farms takes the cake. Ill be posting some pics in a couple hours.

The sick plant has shown no change. No better but luckily its not any worse. The little guys are growing like....well like weeds. I dont want to but im wondering if I should just harvest the sick plant now. What do u guys think? The buds dont seem to be affected at all by the problem.

Isnt coco a medium??? Thought that was used in soiless growing. And about the smell, the plants smell awsome. That little 4in carbon filter kicks ass for the room. Dont even catch a scent until i open the tent. I also have a little OZon Jr. going in the room to add another precaution. I live in a duplex and am a little paranoid at times.

The flower tent is a different story. The problem from the first plant has spread to the rest of the tent. I really dont know weather to increase or decrease the feeding proscess. For the moment i am just giving them water until I can smoke on it for a while or get some advice on what the problem may be and how I should handle it. They have been getting watered every 3-4 days with DYNA bloom nutes added. Ive been using full streanth DYNAgro and DYNAbloom for some time now. PH is still within range for all pots. Hmmmmm.

So Today while giving the plants a lookover I noticed a hermie. Luckily it was the sickest plant. I dealt with the HeShe in the usual manner.mj 006.jpg
