I need a little more HEAT in my grow room

My temperatures are a little low ranging from about 60-70 degrees farenheight give or take. I closed the window to the grow room for now to try and raise the temps a little but seems to have only worked a little and I dont like the idea of not bringing in fresh air from outside into the room. So I had an idea a thought..

Should I add one of those virtually useless phillips agro-lites to the top of my grow closet (far from plants) To raise temps in the room, I'd imagine it would really help because those things get HOT which is why I would have it as far as possible from the plants gaining pretty much no added light but just to raise temps?

Or any better Ideas. I would like to constantly ventilate the room but it makes it harder to keep adequate room temps especially when using CFL's/Flouro's..

Either insulate it with rigid insulation, that'll hold the heat in from the fleuros', or just buy a little electric heater with a built in thermostat. Set it for 65 F, then during the day with lights on, the lights will help give it the other 5-10

I second the space heater idea.

Growing Marijuana is 90% Light and Water and about 10% air. No joke.

What weed likes more then any thing else is to just be left alone with a good Floro light and watering about once every three days with proper nutes.

Don't worry about windows or air. Just leave a nice light over your plant and let it be. It will start growing like a mother fucker and will not stop.

When we mess with the conditions all the time it stresses the plant out. they like things the same. That is the perfect environment for weed.

I appreciate and respect your input but Im gonna have to disagree. Can it grow without water to? Fresh air/CO2 is nearly just as important as the lighting. If you were to grow in a poorly ventilated room the plant WILL run out of CO2 which is food. The plants builds itself based on a combination of water, CO2, and light (photosynthesis). I've never read anything that states ventilation is not important, it is. Im growing in a closet not a greenhouse. Im backing this up on experience to, I noticed big increases in plant response from adding a ventilation system as before I had very little. Poor ventilation stunts growth.

We add CO2 for a reason

if you can safely use and get your hands on a propane space heater, they will raise the temperature and emit co2. Turn your fans off while you run the sapce heater and they will be able to use more co2 as the heat rises also. Except for the possible fire hazard it's a win win.

Sometimes i run a heater and AC at the same time to pinpoint my desired temp.
