you can get the same quality from both, the taste thing is only true if you dont flush long enough when growing hydro ime.

i cant really tell u the difference in taste, i actually grow hydro so i kinda dont know, my taste buds are kinda messed up and when i grew ppl would tell me it taste like fruit loops lol too bad i couldnt taste it. as for dirt, ive heard its better taste, but it would also vary depending on nutes, environment, flushing, and all around wellness of the plant to determine a good taste or not, and curing, u could have a great yeild but it taste horrible cuz you didnt cure it right or for long enough. hahah all the little things that could go wrong, look forward to that. cuz they will. study up

If soil grown weed & hydroponic weed were both grown by growers with equal grow skills then both types have the possibility to be just as good as each other,one type grow method will not stand far above the other.
But this is normally not the case,normally commercial growers who use the hydro growing method are a pretty skilled bunch,they have to be,they also have 100% control over the growing conditions as well as 100% control over when to harvest for best high.
These are things most commercial soil growers do not have much or any control over,no matter how skilled a commercial soil grower is his skills cant control climate & in many areas of the world harvest date depends on weather,not when the plants are ready,this applies to commercial soil growers who grow outdoors,not in a indoor grow room or green house.
If all things are equal both types are near the same,if not then hydroponicly grown commercial should a better quality smoke.
