I need an Aerogarden expert

So i was thinking about doing some lowryder #2xAk47 anyways...how hard is the areo garden should i change out the lights how many plants should i grow at once and how hard are thease to use?...what lighting setting should i grow them on? anyways got pics of there low ryders?...and how much does each plant usually produce?

The aerogarden is really easy to use, but i would say you will definately need to upgrade the lights (for flowering).

Id say that 2 plants is a max in the aergarden, myself I think 1 is best (my ones roots have totally filled the rev (on the classic).

Amout produced will vary depeding on nutes, lights, temps and how well you look after it. My mate just got about 2 grams of 2 plants, but he put no effort and used the standard aerogarden set up. I'm hoping for a least a half on mine!

Get the deluxe upgrade the arm extends higher and more lights. you can grow 4 plants if flowered at 10 inches. I have a question 2 grams Really? thats not worth the effort

hahaa...what u only got two grams was the dry weight?...cause i got a friend doing one rght now..hes only going 3 plants and his it gives him much more room...but he is going to get like an 0 off the 3

Yeah im going to price out an aero garden i wanna do indoor but at my house we throw a lot of parties well my girlfriend does and i just dont want cops comming here and seeing a nice indoor set up..my buddy a couple towns away is doing a massive indoor set up...this hillbilly ass city only like 35 people live in that whole city..haha or town...but hes got room for 20 plants...so i was going to order seeds while i was doing that i was going to get lowryder try an aerogarden...do you have pics of u areo?

na my mate only got 2 grams (complete waste of time and he put no effort in at all), my own plants looking pretty good (lowryder #2) and like i said i reckon it'll do between a half and an oz, but prob another 3-4 weeks of flower left tho.

I see if i can get some pics up but my cameras pretty crap so it wont pick up much detail....

I think you might be able to pull off 3 plants. I prefer the AG for cloning and keeping a micro mum / bonsai mum

I've been doing a bit of research, not claiming to know shit, but a lot of AG users have had their pumps crap out on them because their roots take over.

Don't know that I would go this drastic with a trim, but I would cut 'em back a little.

Yeah, i've swithched the pump of anyway, just have a small pump and airstone in there.

I dont really want to mess with the roots as i used to have 2 in there (1 male) and it took hours to seperate them when i cut it down. It then took about 2 weeks for the female to perk up again, which i assume was the shock of me messing with it. Thanks for the link tho.....

I was reading that the pump is pretty pointless after the roots have hit the water anyhow......

This is my first grow, so dont want to experiment too much (nothings really gone wrong so far). Guess I shouldnt be answering the 'Aerogarden Expert' thread really....lol.

I cannot knock the AG in any way, shape or form...The AG got my "feet wet" so to speak with Aeroponics/hydroponics...

I use my AG to clone and sprout...the only draw back to the AG is the lighting...its good for sprouts or clones, but the lighting isn't enuff to sustain a plant older than 5 weeks...

If you do wanna use the AG for a full grow, dont even bother using the lights...i but the AG res under my HID's and performed awesome...the res is just a lil too small for what i want tho.

I upgraded to a DIY bubbleponic system after i gained some hydro knowledge. For 1/2 the price of an AG, you can construct a bubbleponic or DWC system that will yield larger plants no problem...

The only thing I use an aero-garden for is cloning. I have enjoyed a 100% success rate using the aero-garden for that purpose. I can't imagine the aero-garden producing a yield to make it worth the effort with out supplemental lighting.

Personally... if your just doing one or 2 plants I wouldn't bother spending the 150 to 250 on an aero-garden... I would take the money and go buy some lighting then DIY a 5 gallon bucket DWC.

I second this...I wish I did this...i spent the cash for an aerogarden...when I could have made 2 DIY bubbleponic systems for the same amount of $$ with larger/better results...

as said before...great for cloning...100% success rate thus far...

hey dazer check my pics at (my gurlz) im at two wks into flower........looks like you need more lights...and they are all right the ag is just to get your feet wet...once you figure out hydro your gonna wanna go diy way cheaper...anyway continue your grow learn from it and move on to better grows good luck
