Im only on day 43 and I have 10% amber trichs I only want around 25% but have 3 weeks left. Will turning off my co2 slow it down or should I switch from my 1000watt to 600 watt. I know its a dumb problem to have Im just not big on couch lock.

shouldn't you be pulling now if your trich's are turning amber? Or do you mean 10% red hairs?

Yeah, the plant is done when the plant is done. If you have milky white trich's and amber ones as well, then she's done. there's no way to slow here down. You're on 12/12 for good, and you can't change that without stressing the plant and possibly ruining your harvest..

Are you buds not as filled in with bud mass as you'd like or something?

I'd say let her grow until you start to see a few brown trich's and then take her down immediately. You will have then waited as long as you possibly could wait, without ruining your weed... Good luck to you man..

weird question, but are you checking the trichs with the microscope directly under the HPS lights? I did this for awhile until i realized that the HPS will actually make some clear and white trichs look amber at certain angles. Take the plant away from the light and then check the trichs, or snip a small sugar leaf and bring it into a different room and then check.

took sugas leaves off every plant, its wierd, only one of them has amber trichs the rest seem to be right on schedule. the only diff is this plant is hit on a11 sides with a 1000 watts, its in the middle of a 4x8 tray, and it was in veg a lot longer....was a mother

Mother plants and plants with longer veg time can (not always) mature quicker than younger plants. Glad you didn't chop the plants w/o amber trichs! Good luck on the rest of your grow!
