So I live in a nolt so friendly state and am paranoid about using hps or mh because of the heat. So I was wondering if I used a 120watt led on some autoflowers would it affect the yield or the time or the quality any input is good input.

Can you give some more details on the light? Is it 1w or 3w LED? I have 2 autos under 3w 180w panel, vegged beautifully, probably could have done another or two but space was an issue for me. I'm expecting good results during flowering as well. But more details on the light, number of plants, and grow space will help us understand your situation so you get better advice.

auto flowering plants are designed to flower when they hit a certain hiegth regardless of light cycle so as long as the light is given off the right spectrum you should be good. my buddies and i generally use the autoflower out doors as a fire and forget, come back 60-80 days later and harvest.

I have started 2 AF grows under a UFO 90, and finishing one under it now. Go for it, but know that most AFs ae not stable. Mine were said to seed to harvest in 65 days. I am now 5+ months with 5-10 days to finish

i use the led for veg, its similar to the one you got but its the 90w ufo. they are the lighthouse models from gotham. not as bad as the cheap things on ebay. i got a six band model for veg and then use hps for flower but i would not say you will have any problems with the light as its the flowering spectrum you got. just keep a close eye on your temps and you should be fine. they dont get warm at all which is handy if you live somewhere warm but a bugger if you live somewhere shitty and cold like where i live. mr once a day must have nice weather as he grows outdoors, id love to know what he gets once a day though!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They are 3 w led red blue and orange not sure of the exact wavelegnth I bought the system off ebay it wasn't one of the asian knockoffs it was manufactured in the us. Here is a link to what I got it was sort of a impulse buy but u can view the specs http://item.mobileweb.ebay.com/viewitem?itemId=290544062588&index=0&nav=SEARCH&nid=34458011427 let me know what you guys think thanks alot.
From what i hear, those blackstars do a good job, but be mindful of how many plants you put under there. I'm actually thinking about adding one of those to compliment my current panel as I add a couple more plants next round. Id be very interested in seeing the production from one blackstar, as most journals ive come across use at least 2, granted they always are doing at least 6 plants

I've noticed inconsistencies with autos as well, but mostly in the germ phase ie not germin or breaking surface. What strain is taking 5 months?! That's an insane amount of time, seeing increased growth or yield with that extra time?
