I need to eradicate spider mites

I'm aware of the pinned recipe above, and I will try that. I'm just hoping others will chime in with their methods, I've had zero success with neem/insecticidal soap. I'm looking for no a nonsense way to destroy these little shits. It's in my veg room and I'm about ready to trash all my cuts, clean house and start over.

I've had mites for the better part of 6 months. I've tried so much shit, tried to keep it organic, but they just seem to like to fuck in whatever I spray. Here is a list of stuff I've tried

Rubbing alcohol/water
1/4
1/2
1/1
Straight alcohol
The 1/1 is a good way to knock them down. I didny notice any I'll effects from the straight rubbing alcohol, and it evaporates quickly. You'll need to apply twice a day at least to interrupt their life cycle.

Habanero Pepper spray
Cleared my sinuses, made the tent sticky. Mites were wearing Sombreros.

Clove, lavender spray
Smells fantastic. Does next to nothing

Neem
Tried and true. Doesn't kill the eggs, can't spray too late into flower.

Pyrethren
Works pretty well, don't overdo it or it will burn your foliage. I get the concentrate %10. Again, you'll have to hit them every day to disrupt their life cycle.

Acephate
This was my last ditch effort. Acephate is a systemic, which means it is absorbed through the roots and distributed through the plants vascular system. Acephate is present in the plant for 15 days after application. The mites eat the leaf, they die.

Now, I don't want to smoke any acephate. No matter who says its not in the plant anymore. So I treated my mother plants, clones, and veg plants (all of which had mites). I continued spraying rubbing alcohol before lights on, make sure to get the underside of the leaves, and pyrethrin/neem/water 2tbsp/1tbsp/1gal at lights out. Get a sprayer with a wand.

Veg plants, mother's are currently mite free. One flower tent is clear, second still has some leaf damage, but I don't see any mites. So I think the acephate worked, in combination with the 2 sprays. I cloned my mother plants before starting all this, so I was able to rid the veg of mites and trash everything in veg. Only missed about 3 weeks in my perpetual schedule.

In conclusion, I sacrificed my veg plants by making them deadly to the enemy. As they were dying from botulism and other bloody orifice diseases, I was flawlessly orchestrating an air campaign with a various array of ordinance. Hit them hard, and hit them often. Spray every day for a month. Then when they are gone, don't stop. But every 3 days is OK. Once a week is asking for mites again.

Anyone else know of any systemic for mites that works and doesn't smell like a Sulphur train collided with a cabbage tanker, id love to hear about it.

Hope this helps, fuck the borg.

You can just use some strong chem stuff and give them 30+ days before flowering them. Since you’re in veg you can dust the plants with d.e. And it will help slow them down.

ive also had had luck with a combo of rotating captain jacks dead bug(spinosad), Azamax (neem concentrate), peppermint Castile soap, D.E. and squishing them. Also they don’t care for wind Vs dead air.

when I was a bit younger I’d fight them… now I just trash them if I can and save myself the headache. If it’s a whole room then I’d probably give them a fight.

I made ISO spray - it desiccates them bastards on contact - eggs too. Plus it evaporates quickly.

Nuclear option -
I made a 50 / 50 Everclear ( grain alcohol ) / water in spray bottle….. you can hear the fuckers scream.

3 rounds of green clean 3 days apart… continue with good IPM afterwards (once a week spray of Neem for instance)

I use Green Cleaner on my indoor plants (not cannabis) with fantastic results. Spraying every 2-3 days has resulted in eradicating them from all my plants but one, just too many nooks and crannies in that specific plant, and if you leave even one, they'll be back in force eventually. I have not had to use it on cannabis yet, hopefully they never find the backroom. Green Cleaners website says it is an approved cannabis treatment up to the day of harvest, main drawback is it is expensive.

The concentrate says it can be used as a systemic. I might give this a shot. Rosemary sure beats the stench of acephate. Just add it to my sip and let the magic happen.

Citric acid will wipe out both adults and eggs. Just be sure to really soak the under sides of all the leaves. A pump sprayer with a fine mist is best in my experience. It's in the canning section of the grocery store and Walmart usually.
