open the door ? you dont have options,

make a make shift door out of wood or card board, one fan low one fan high. make sure you dont vent towards parents rooms

i cant put a makeshift door there because then the sliding door wouldnt slide. my girfriend uses a 1/4 of the closet starting where there is no light. you will also notice these are mirrored closet doors (just to avoid connfusion) heres a pic of what it looks like:

Dude you need a grow tent. Give your girl her space back it's going to make her clothes smell and that will end your grow. Take care of it asap. I hear they run about $99 I shop at High Tech Garden Supply

Or if your handy build one yourself for less.

what kind of light do you have? i jus got a 250w hps and have yet to install it because im sure i need some kind of ventilation. my measurements is 6FT length x 2FT width x anywhere from 3 to 5ft. i plan on using the bar in the closet to hang the light from. the bar is at 5 ft so i have that distance to play with.

my closet is 3x2x6. and then above it is a 3 ft space where i keep my plants in veg. i have 100w on top 400w HPS on the bottom.

check out this grow, guys used a 400wHPS in a closet almost identical to yours...course he had the entire closet to himself..

yea man just use that fan from the picture and put it right up against the closet keep it cracked and it'll be ventilation enough. nighttime you'll want a curtain or something otherwise you'll have light leaks and could turn your ladies in to hermi's , just happened to me

Well Kacky, your best bet is some carboard (to prevent the light leaks) with cutouts for venting air, and just a small enough opening so she can get to the other part. But I'm serious about the smell. You will see :(

i know about the smell...ive harvested over 7 lbs out of that closet over the past 10 months. im trying to figure out how to get air from the closet to the room. if i put up cardboard how is she goin to be able to slide the door without knocking down the cardboard?

click my sig and you will see pics of how the inside of the closet it. i have 6ftx2ftx3-5ft...i plan on hanging the the 250w hps from the bar so i got some height to play with. i dont mind cracking the closet but would a blower like this (Attwood 3 In. Blower Turbo 3000 Ventilator, 3 In. Blower - 1733-4 at The Home Depot) connected to some ducting that runs out of the closet be adequate? this inline blower moves 145 cfm

i really appreciate that link...you're the man! and yea that inline fan moves an astonishing 145 cfm, i though it would be adequate (along with an oscillating fan and an intake of course) but needed some expert confirmation...

I think that blower would actuall do pretty well in my opinion, If you got some spare space up top (that is if you have a shelf) I could give you something i had an idea for and you could do what you wish with it...

Ok this has the top shelf being used so I'm not 100% this is going to work but then again i Just kinda whipped this up as an Idea you can take it and do what you please with it, modd it or trash it if you choose.

I've kinda blocked off the one side you use for growing but in your pic i can see you've already done that. Then blocked off the off shelf from the other side and where you grow so you'd have three different rooms. 1 as your grow room. 2 as a small cooling area and 3 just as her side of the closet then just setting up a couple of computer fans to help get a push of the warm air from room 1 to room 2 where it is then cooled with a series of fans and then pushed back down to room 1 again to the bottom. If you kinda get the idea but i dont know If you able to use the top shelf just an Idea let me know if you decide to use or not if so let me know how it works...

oh no i my gf's purses are up there but i have no problem yanking them. i really like ur design theres just one problem the three computer fans that you have against the wall on the top shelf...i cant cut any holes in the wall for the fans....i can def cut some holes for ventilation in the cardboard or wood splitting the room but i cant go through the wall on the shelf...keep pushin though....this is almost a masterpiece

what about a 12in table fan on the highest power facing toward the two computer fans exhausting back down to room 1?

so if i understand right the pc fan nexto the light is exhausting heat into the cooling area, and the pc fan is exhausting cooled air to the flowering room where that cooled air then pushes the warmer air back through the whole process..is this correct? do you think pc fans along will do it for heat issues? should i sacrafice the two pc fans that'll be used to move air from the cooling area to the flowering area for one of those blower fans i provided the link for that is mountable and moves 145 cfm? because i could just mount the blower to the shelf and run ducting through the cardboard on the shelf and then back through the cardvoard at the bottom or should i use the blower along with a pc fan?
