I split the Stalk on my girl really bad.

I was training this plant to get it under a screen and it split right down the middle. This happened around 6-7 days ago ,she didn't wilt or look any more stressed than what she already was. There is plenty of new growth on all of the stems that were affected by this. It's in a really difficult place to get it back together and the stem were the cable tie is is hanging on by a few threads yet there still new growth happening there...

I'm starting to worry it's going to rot or something, any ideas on what I can do? She's been vegging since january and still is now, I was doing some training and to get it under the screen and switch to 12/12 but this has happened :?:?

Tape it,tie it any thing to get the split closed up.

Odds are she will be fine.

Oops 7 or 8 days ago.....dunno mang.If it ever happens again get it taped tied what ever ya gotta do to seal the split.

Don't know how she'll react after that many days.I would think by now the wound has dried up some which you don't want.

Forgot to say, it was wrapped tight with some green plant wire and some cable ties holding it together but it wouldn't fully close, I took it off to see if it had healed today, you can see knuckles forming on the lower branches which are affected but the top part is pretty dry. It's still growing by the day and everything is pointing upwards toward the light.

Keep it tied.Do some extra taping what ever you can do now. That's a big split,as she grows then buds there will be alot of strain on the split.Make sure she isn't going to split again down the road by doin what you can now.

Put it back together and leave it alone..don't keep opening old wounds...If you do keep opening old wounds you might as well add salt to it too, that way it will never heal.
Noted and thanks for replying man, I've just been back and done what I could, still not full closed but I don't wanna tighten everything too tight incase it fucks it even more. Check the pic below.

I would use some thing to go up some on those 2 branches and tie it off also.Up away from the split. It'll help take off more strain on the split.Kinda can't over do it.

I had one my plants tied to the handles on a smart pot. One day i picked her up wrong somehow and caused it to split. Turned out just fine. Dont mind the tape bellow that was another boo boo.

That's why you don't want to top so close to the node. You want to give some space when you top because it will prevent exactly this.

I split one of my last run, got some stuff to tie it together. No problems with it at all. My split is probably closer to the OP picture, if not a little worse.
