milky is peak
amber is decay to cbns and other chemicals

the tricromes ripen more as u dry and cure .........for maxium u want to grab when 70-75% is milky

as for what to do ..................if u want it to show and be more sticky u turn the lights off for 2 days before u cut it .................those 2 days it is best to just water it right before and then turn the lights off and then hang it for 7 days (personaly i found the curing racks to be nicer they are more cured/dry after the 7 days then just hanging up side down ) just clip the branch and lay it on the rack

as for the dry box best choice is to convert the tent into one ................if u do not have that choice order a cheapo made one and u can hang the cure rack in there with a fan to move the air and a little bathroom dehumitfier if u need it ......the smell is contained in the tent and u can use a smaller carbon filter and a cheap 4 inch booster fan.............as long as the area is dark about 75-70 degrees with air movement and humity controlled 7 days the plant is ready for the final trim

before u hang u trim off all the fan leaves u can make sure u get close to stalk (dries evenly and faster do to not drawling from the leaf) as for the sugar leaves on the buds u can get the ones u want now or wait and get them later for triming the buds pretty

here is the post for what i did and works well
