K so I got some help and found out I did to much watering on the rockwool. Stopped watering and already lost one for sure it shriveled up and gone.

Not sure about these...they still look ok but from the roots they look hopeless, but I need opinions b/c this is my first grow.

3 plants with 2 pics each and the last 2 pics are of the healthy one that I think is going to make it. Thx for the help and don't know if I can do anything more to save these lil girls.

Those look pretty bad =(. I completely avoided opening my rockwool cubes to see the roots, I had one that I had to open and it died shortly after I started messing with the roots/rockwool cube figuration. Any-who why are the roots coming out of the top and sides of the cubes? Perhaps you should try centering the seed in the middle of the rockwool and burying it about 1.5x the length of the seed? It worked for me! Good luck mate

yeah the water beat up the rockwool...i had the drip on 15/off 15 and when i went to move them after they dried out the rockwool started falling apart so i figured I would take some pics to find out if they are worth saving....i just mist them every once in a while so the over watering doesn't happen again...I turned off the drip to see if they make it back

I don't know about the roots...after germination i put them in roots down into the middle of the rockwool....on one the root curled upwards when i put the seed in but i didn't want to mess with it in fear that i would do more bad then good

Start over and this time.. don't over use the drip feed. Also, don't handle the cubes like that man..

What a mess... Maybe you should just start again. Generally if you fuck with them as seedlings you will stunt them or kill them...

VO quit being so serious and anti-friendly XD. Shits fine, just next time try not to pick and pry too much. Instead of germing and transplating them, try sticking them in the rockwool cube and cover with a humidity dome. This way you dont even have to bother transplanting the germ'd seed into the rockwool.

lol not trying to be anti-friendly, just blunt. :blsmoke:

But he needs to start with fresh seedlings, there's no way those roots are going to have an easy time re-rooting.

The one in the bucket will be fine. Just ride it out... they live or die. No real time lost here, just the few days of germ/sprout =P An easy mistake to re-cover from. Unless you have to wait another 15 days for seeds to be delivered (laughs)

Haha can you go over watering process in your video?...maybe I'm not slow just visual lmao I swear i've read a shit ton on here....but maybe I should have spent more time in the seedling process

Only way to learn is to try, I give you credit for trying. Most people dont even attempt this shit. We generated QUITE a few responses for ya in a short time though, hope RIU helps you as it has me.

Put your water level half an inch to an inch below your rockwool cube. After that, make sure it gets refilled to that line every day until you have a nice fat root ball, or just long roots. Then drop the water level a couple more inches.

Oh shit I forgot those were nice seeds =X

Yeah.. I'd try to save them, but it'd be difficult. Especially if you're not used to dealing with seedlings.

Nah I appreciate it...I love this site everyone is always so helpful. I will learn, some stuff doesn't matter how much I read I still gotta crawl before I walk. This being my first grow I have already got the itch...I will learn this so I can grow some great bud and then help others that can't figure out how not to water to much and then mess with the rockwool so much that you kill everything haha

I have a reservoir bucket and I'm not running air stones to bubble up to the roots so without the drip I don't have water circulating...if I have the water 1/2 inch below the cube...how do I know how much and how often to manually water the top until the roots hit the water?

I read that post earlier from you in a different thread and thats where I have the water now. Problem is now that I turned off the drip the rockwool seems dried out in the one that isn't dead but I'm not sure how much to water it manually.

Don't feel too bad matey. A LOT of first timers get that wrong. I taught a mate to clone once and did about 20 clones with him. I told him not to fiddle with it or get it too wet. What did he do? He couldnt help himself and fiddled with them.. Pulling them open to see if he could see roots n shit like that. :wall: Out of 20, 1 survived...
