I Will Not Buy from The Attitude Seedbank Again

Back in July I ordered some seeds from The Attitude seedbank. Part of the order was a 5 pack of The Church from Greenhouse Seeds. A few weeks ago it was time to germinate and only 1 out the 5 Church seeds germinated (9 out of 10 of Big Bud germinated fine). I sent The Attitude an email letting them know the situation, I wasnt even asking for compensation, I simply told them what happened and asked if they were aware of any problems with these seeds.

It appears that this is a known problem with some batches of The Church seeds and I'm sure The Attitude has been aware of this for months.

So this morning I get this response from The Attitude:

'We are very sorry to hear you are dissatisfied with your souvenirs, as you
are aware we sell our seeds solely for souvenir purposes and storage
purposes. In regards to compensation,we are unable to process non
germination claims in the UK as we cannot be seen to be selling seeds for
any other purpose than for souvenir purposes or for storage purposes
should the laws change, there have been strict laws implemented in the UK
regarding this.

You can send all the unsatisfactory souvenirs and packaging back to us and
we will forward these to Greenhouse Seeds where they will carry out tests
with a view to a replacement. As mentioned all packaging and souvenir
seeds must be returned.'

Am I wrong thinking this is total BS? I didnt ask for compensation, I merely asked if they were aware of any problems and their response is basically 'these are sold for souvenir purposes only'.

Fuck it, I'll stick to buying clones from the dispensaries from now on.

actually almost every side says there souvinirs only so it isnt bunk.... you got big bud sweet im thinkin about gettin those next grow whats it 24 ounces a plant or something like that

I understand that but instead of addressing the issue of a known problem they send an obviously canned blowoff response. I could care less about the money (even though these seeds arent cheap).

But related to the Attitude,

The only reason that you got an email back like that, is because the attitude is in Great Britain, and the laws there allow them to sell and collect seeds, but not germinate them. They are only allowed to collect them to preserve rare strains so that whenever the cannabis laws change, they can have all these great strains to grow with.

But as far as the response goes for a refund or for new seeds bein shipped out to you, they said that they would forward your seeds to greenhouse seed co so they could look at them, and possibly re-issue you some good church seeds - is that not them trying to be as customer service friendly as possible?? N i highly doubt that they would knowingly sell you some bullshit seeds. If they knew that the church seeds was bunk they would have discontinued the whole lot of them until they knew the problem had been fixed. Thats probably why they are out of stock on church right now, as a matter of fact.

I aint tryin to dis u or be a dick, but The Attitude is the shit. Just be thankful that we have seedbanks to buy strains from that wont rip us off for our money, or give us some bullshit seeds. Its always what they say its gonna be, and if you got a bad batch of some seeds, im sorry, but dont blame the seedbank, blame the breeder - Greenhouse Seeds.

The Attitude is an A+ seedbank.

it doesn't sound like bs to me. Just a standard reply, and if in fact the seeds are flawed this would be the case.

Bad Dog. For a moment, get them shoes off them Dogs, & put yourself in the Attitudes attitude. A Business can't say what I can say. Here is my question. #I, The Attitude, send you 10 seeds. You get 10 seeds. Now, tell me, as a complete strange, how many ways the public can fuck them seeds up to cause such a piss-poor growth rate/male/female ratio. IE:, Did they get a little dry, was the temp not maintained at steady 80 degrees, was they soaked, what water was used to soak, the problems goes on & on. Me personally, I like the Attitude, but I have rockwool, heating pad, domes, all that shit. Most of my failures are due to my own ignorance. I'm not saying you did anything wrong, I'm just trying to picture what they have to put up with.

N every email that they get from people bitching about problems they have while trying to germinate or grow the seeds that Attitude gives them, your putting their seedbank at risk of being shut down. If you HAVE to email them, only refer to them as souveniers, refer to yourself as a collector, and DONT talk about making them sprout in any way. Dont fuck it up for the rest of us.

Next time tell them the seeds were crushed . . . its a legal loophole thing for them. I would write an e-mail to greenhouse seed co though they stand by their product and may be able to help. :peace:

Fair enough. I've heard good things about them too, which is why after discovering there was a problem I was expecting a response more like 'yes there has been problems with this strain, please send them back to us and we will make sure things are corrected'. Not 'send them back and then a view will be made after tests are done' and totally ignoring the fact that Greenhouse admitted they were bad. I'm not saying they sent them out knowing they were bad.

I run an online business and if a customer has a problem with a product that has a known defect I would tell them to send it back and a replacement will be sent right out, not send it back and then we will decide after tests are done. Yes it is ultimately Greenhouses fault but as the seller they also have a responsibility of what they sell and how problems are handled.

thisis the firs time ive seen this ...its kinda funny if any one here goes to regal theatres often theylle know that there is a RegalCrownCLUB as well

they responed with GOOD respone. i dont see your problem. they even offered you to cahnge those bad seeds.

im thinking about ordering seeds from them or chronics. i live in Europe.

Just wanted to say I recieved my second order very fast from attitude. They sent me K-train instead of trainwreck seeds though, I'm not to happy about that.

N just another Q, has anybody ordered from Attitude in the last 24 hours??

I have ordered many times from the attitude and have always been happy. But It really sucks that seed companies are selling products with known issues. There are still quite a few companies selling this bad batch of the church seeds. Total bullshit! These companies should tell GHS to take back the bad batch and not carry them again until the problem has been worked out, just as if it were any other type of retail goods!
