I wonder can I?

I wonder if I can add tasty fruit mix with water to pour it into plants to make it smell fruity or taste fruity? I remember I did before when I have blue dream outdoor plant and I add real half of watermelon to blend it then mix with 1 and 1/2 gal water then filter off the seeds and watermelon to get liquid then mix it and pour it that how in the end harvest I can smell watermelon from bud.. but not sure if I could do it again with different fruit.

Alright also I wonder the terpene drop flavor will work for it?
All I know is extensive research into terpenes over many years involving every type of plant and its fruit shows it’s impossible to do anything regarding terpenes. Best advice is keep it simple and use decent nutrients. Learn to feed using increasing EC, pH adjustment and the best light you can put over them.

Define manipulate...

There are many reasons terps are both increased(e.g. dank flavor) and decreased(e.g. stealth). Molasses, and Fulvic and Humic acids are known to be INCREDIBLE flavor enhancers boosting a plants natural Terp production.
-------------
Truthfuly, he just wants to manipulate the flavor.

There are also thousands of examples of performing a final flush with essential oil(orange, grapefruit etc) and the final cured flowers possessing the distinct flavors and smells of the respective EO.

Got anything like actual research papers that bear this out?

Also Sulphur plays a huge role in boosting terps, as well as bringing some forward that otherwise might not be expressed.

Research has demonstrated that there are several factors that potentially affect terpenoid production in cannabis cultivation. Among the most critical are plant genetics, pest presence, cultivation conditions, the ecological history of resources, and overall plant health. While soil nutrient and microbiological diversity and fertilization have an impact on plant chemistry, research on the impact on terpene production is limited and variable. To our knowledge, terpene enhancers do not boost production or quality of terpenes. These products may have the potential to increase terpenes, although not directly—these products improve overall plant health, which in turn encour- ages terpene expression.”

I mean, I was thinking you were debating the ridiculous notion of injecting flavors. Because why would you when she is already the most interesting plant on the planet. But I just wanted to show you it's common.. But no way in hell did I think you were arguing about the terps. The cold hard fact is, you're wrong. It's evolution and genetics, man. DJ Short instilled one of the most useful pieces of advice in my time loving this plant.. He explained how taking strains from a Cold Mountain region, and introducing them to a tropical climate, is the best way to make her express phenotypes that she never has before. Those phenotypes express terps that may have never been coaxed out of the GENETIC CODING. This is why all Blueberry seeds don't produce the BB smell/taste. This is why breeders Pheno-hunt. You can't argue with genetics man. Almost every strain on this planet has DORMANT DNA and can be coaxed out and bred into existence.

HOPE THIS HELPS..

It sounds like you have little understanding of science. You just pass on what is called “anecdotal evidence.” I’m not going to argue with you because I don’t give a fuck what you think.

So evolution is "anecdotal evidence"? You're fucking SHOT. Evolution is real and terps change, old man.

You mean “unsulphered“ like molasses ... hmmmmm.
I didn’t know cannabis “ preferred “ specific sugars. Did it tell you this ?
Nope. I didn't mention anything about unsulphured. I said it prefers it's sugar with Sulphur. In case you never knew, there is still Sulphur in "unsulphured" molasses. It's the Sulphur DIOXIDE that has been removed.
