I really would love to see an original pic of girl that made it thrue a night of snowing, obviously its not gonna be a huge snowstorm (or mayb it is) but I would love to see a nice mature plant that has some snow on her....
Anyone know of or got a pic?? It's gotta be possible to survive a quick overnight snow shower, and I think it would look Cool
Thanks

lost 2 tops and she made it tell 2 days ago when i chopped her down and started reveging the lowest parts now the rest is drying

sorry nothing that drastic happened to ours it was just a lite frost. i woke up at about 8am. saw some ice/snow on it. got off work at 3 for lunch and the snow was melted and the plant was fine. although that seeing a plant as if it was christmas day would be an amazing sight. we have 10 plants growing out side now about a foot tall and its suppose to snow this weekend and we are very interested to see how long they will last.

no snow here yet but it got down to 25 degrees for 5 hours last night. I went and checked them at 4:00 in the morning and the leaves were curled down and covered in frost. Now they are back to normal. If i can get another 2 weeks I'll be a happy guy.

Havent seen one spec of snow in BC here yet. If winters anything like last year we may not see snow until december. (I may have just jinxed us)

About 8 years ago, a friend of mine was growing some afghani outdoors. The plants were between 8 and 10 feet tall. When I went to see him in early December, I was amazed to see the plants were still growing. He said Every day he goes out and shakes the snow off of the plants. At the time there was aprox. 6-8 inches of snow on the ground. I didn't get any pics, but this was a truly amazing sight in South Eastern Ontario. He harvested his plants Dec 24.

did he plant them late or something?.. afghanis finish early?..also why dont you guys pick strains that will finsh early in your area? not good for the guerrilla growing when the only green thing out there is your babys.
