If temps and humidity is good Do You Really Need a Fan on?

I have a 3 x 3 tent and a 600 with 2 to 300 cfm exhaust

I have always read that fans help make the stems grow stronger, but I wont to grow bud not strong stems. Will reducing the amount of time the fan is on help bud production. My humidity and temps are good without the fan I would like to know if anyone has any experience with this.

I have a oscillating fan on a 8 event timer to run 5 minuets every few hours.

Any thoughts?

ALWAYS! The leaves absorb all the CO2 in a short period. Air must be moved to replace stale air. And yes, it also discourages mold and mildew. Remember you're re-creating mother nature. Outside there is always at least a little air movement.

I find it difficult to believe that your temps in a 3x3 with a 600w and no ventilation are good. What are your temps?

Sorry Diaz, to explane a little better..

I have a carbon filter, air cooled hood and a 6 in inlinefan that is on 24/7, I was wondering if the fan blowing directly on the plants is really necessary if all is good with the environment in the tent.
