Can anyone tell me if things go well tomorrow, would patients who had to become mmpr patients due to timing be able to revert back to the mmar and potentially produce their own medicine? Just wondering because the way thimgs are going, I can't see myself being able to continue to participate in the mmpr.

I seriously doubt it. HC is trying to force as many people into their "for profit" model as possible, anybody they already have suckered in they aren't going to allow to revert. Can't afford the medication, too bad, that's the prices the "market will bear".

Interesting how even new patients don't like the new model. There is no way people want to spend all their hard earned income paying for something they can grow cheaper themselves or buy from the black market. And the threat of arrest for being in possession illegally is a farce given how this government does whatever they want regardless of the rules. No variety, high prices, limited supply ( stockpile of garbage), limited number of patients...off to a great start and we haven't even gone full out yet. I still think (hope) this won't be successful because once patients realize what they have to pay out of their pocket, they'll be looking for buddy down the street.

The case would only affect current MMAR licensed individuals.

I can't speak for all new patients but I know I went into this skeptical about how things were going to go. And tbh, for the first few weeks I was ok with the service and about 75% happy with the product. Now its a much different story. Its just so crazy to expect me to pay 900 a month plus shipping on medication that may or may not be available when its needed and forget about the quality now. Its all been junk my past few orders. And P.N doesn't even answer the phones anymore to complain. I think its safe to say us mmpr patients have no reasonable access to our medicine and I feel we should be allowed to get it however we need to. Even if that means stricter rules to keep rec users out I am fine with that. If you just wanna get high go to a weed dealer.

probably should hold a patient meet and greet....that way we will be able to recognize each other in the prison....

I just read the statement of claim and John Conroy is in fact looking to make MMPR patients included in the rulings so that we will have the same rules across the board regardless if you signed up under MMAR or MMPR. That makes me happy.

good idea Cannadan if you go to prison they have to supply your meds. and as I am on a disability pension my pay check keeps comming in every month so my wife and kids can also live. maybe when we get to the jail they will make us all wear a yellow star of David so we can identify each other that way THEM NAZI BASTARDS.

They'd have to house us all together to stop other prisoners from stealing our medicine...it might not be too bad.LOL!

That is awesome to hear, however I don't see how the MMPR patients will reap any benefits under the MMAR seeing as they have not been approved or licensed to grow under the MMAR originally.

Yeah but that's only because that was not an option at the time. I don't think a judge woukd make the dustinction based on when you became ill or were approved for medical use.thst would be like saying only cancer patients who were ill before s certain date could get chemo, everyone else gets advil.

Only if advil were taking over and deemed "more appropriate" than chemo (to use your analogy). I don't think MMPR patients will have any right to producing their own even if the injunction is successful. Simply put, there are no means of gaining the proper permits/license anymore from HC. The injunction will only serve those who already legally have the ability to grow their own medicine.

True. However the Judge has stated (via the tweets I have read) that he/she may render a decision today. Worst case scenario it will be done before April 1/14.

Just finished the tweets myself, would sure be nice if the ruling came today.

I think the worst part is it's far far cheaper on the black market at this point. Which just indicates how greedy the LP's are IMO.
