shaking is a new one to me.. looks like the jars are going well... is it possible to leave it in the jar too long while the others catch up???

What would stop it? You're introducing a single life form into a sterile system designed to give them ideal conditions for growth.

You leave about the top third of the jar empty. When you see white on the substrate if you are using popcorn for instance it will spread and break up the mycillium. It will allow the jar to grow faster. You shake about 3 or 4 times hard as hell so it will make the jar finish faster.Tehn you pressure cook ten jars and when they cool add a tenth of the finished jar to the top of your cooled down pop corn. When those 10 jars are colinized the you case it allow the mycillium to grow until the tray is white let it have some daylight mist the tub and walla you have a mushroom

You only need two compatable spores in your jar in order for fruiting to be possible - two microscopic tiny itty bitty particles. Any more than those two is actually a waste of spores. The solution you have in your syringe contains hundreds if you can't see them and thousands if you can, and hundreds of thousands if your solution is tinted and millions if it is dark.
