I just spend $! To make a lot of it! And KIND and Blackdog have done it for me for 4 years now! The Chinese Led companies would have to pay me to take there crap home!
There's an option in the middle, where you know what brand diodes you're getting, the spectrum ratio, and even for a lower price.

The choices don't have to be cheap Chinese import at one end, or rebranded Chinese imports sold at a markup with little details about the chips and spectrum/ratio used.

I don't think anyone's defending Chinese lights. You're right that rebranding one and selling it with local support is worth more money. It seems like the point is that you can get local support with more information about what you're buying, better quality chips, and often for less than the "secret sauce" lights.

Look at it this way, the brands you mention have glammed up web pages selling every conceivable aspect of the light. If the chips they use were something they were proud of, don't you think they'd mention it? I.e., their silence on the topic indicates to me it's not the best chips. Old tech as mentioned before.

I'll start off on the right foot here and not think your spamming since your new here, maybe you post on other forums idk...but do you have pics to back up these claims with these lights by any chance? I'm not one to be cheap as Ive bought/spent a shit ton of equipment over the years but have threads backing it all up whether good or bad purchases.

And that is the million dollar problem folks. Some work most don't work as good as they claim. So that leads us to this discussion which is a shit show but we can end it now that we know the facts.

Area 51 - Great lights, known bin numbers, always a thoroughly tested product.
Hans Panels - Workin strong
Advancedledlights - Bin numbers unknown, many people point towards Area 51 as a more cost efficient and know what you pay for light. (but it works)

Blackdog - Chinese rebrander

Kind - Because being kind to your wallet is uncapitalistic
Lush - You can trust us cuz we go to every event and claim all kinds of shit. (subcool still uses his lush light guys!!!! oh yeah its on the side of his grow LMFAO)

The chinese ebay lights - Because YOU can grow too! for about 2 months before we fail. If we don't fail though you might not enjoy the resin and flower development that you could with a better light.

Every light you buy in LEDs is a stepping stone, even if you buy the most expensive most thought out scientific pos. There will be better the next year and the next year after that. That leads us to conclude that anyone buying a cheap ass light and having it work for a year is a good strategy if they can make it produce. Save that money and get a beaster next year kiddies!

Man I love the features my K5 has with remote and internal timers and I like to give growershouse my money. I really like giving my money to the American workforce! As much as I can. This topic is almost like last week when I was buying root plugs? I like botanicare but ended up buying general hydros rapid rooter tray! Sure I could have bought cheap ones but after reading and reviewing I bought the best! In my view that is! I don't like cheap! Sorry but I don't want a 12 year old Chinese girl setting my spectrum! ( rebranded Blackdogs) Do YOU?

Bought two A51 RW-75s to accompany the Gavita DE 750 watters, Hans Mother Panel, and A51 W100 :D

Absolutely impressed with the packaging of the A51 fixtures, I was satisfied the moment I opened the box and handled the fixture; I immediately discarded the packaging and threw away the included return slip :D
