REALSTYLES,why don't you just give it a rest. I know you have a closed head injury with brain damage but thats not a excuse for your constant trolling, you just seem to like arguing and the subject doesn't seem to matter. Now your attacking one of the few LED panel companies that is open and communicates with our community.
First off there isn't an argument from me. Everyone has freedom to say what they wanna say. It's up to the other person to react. Like you for instance. First off I'm not attacking them. I can read you know and I read their FAQ and caught them in a lie. You must like to be lied too. Plus I didn't say they sucked I said they worked, so how am I attacking them.

I don't get it. I was just saying I caught them in a lie and you got mad. So feel free to ignore me and why did you have to go out of your way to talk about my tragedy in my almost a year ago plus calling me troll? Don't you know trolls are mythical creatures with magical powers? I'm the least from being mad or angry.

I'm pretty sure all the top led users( at least speak for myself) here support companies...not countries.
And the reason the chosen company gets our support is because of the performance....no matter what company it is...if it performs, it gets the nod.

Call it what you want...spin it how ever which way...performance trumps all.
Is a51 using real crees...YES
Do they perform to specs...YES
Do you have a "china" company making better lights???

You insinuate that they are lying about performance? Otherwise...they are cree's just like they state, so what are you arguing??

There is technically no such thing as an american made...or an american anything for that matter if we really want to get down to it like RS is trying to argue...I don't think native americans are making any of the lights on the market...hahaha
Is that what you guys are trying to take this too????

Stop just stop. I think I just shit myself from what you said about the Native Americans making the lights. I wish I would have thought of saying that. You are so true. Now I'm a diy guy but I love my Mars lights.

I read their FAQ and caught them in a lie.
I don't think you've proven they lied. The wiki page says they have a "plant" in the US and are expanding it (i.e., implies continued use). Your only rationale for them being Chinese manufactured is that they'd cost too much if made in the US. But, businesses spread costs all the time. If they make A in Malaysia, B in China, C in Canada... those are often priced the same, attributing labor cost as a general expenditure -- not tied to the specific cost of making a specific item which must be recouped specifically from its purchase.

I agree with captain. A51 has demonstrated they're not one of the "secret sauce" brands. I think they would have deserved the respect of contacting them directly to discuss it. Jumping to "I caught them in a lie" isn't cool. If that's related to your injury, I don't know.

(If it was Lush, Kind, HydroGrowLED, California Lightworks, GrowBlu, Blackdog, then I could see making assumptions. Those guys aren't very transparent. Haven't earned a degree of respect.).

The onyx series from RapidLED look solid.[/QUOTE I was
WIth apache it's at600 or nothing imo. 1 for 1 with a 1K hps. It's the top of the food chain in production panels right now imo still. Use the code ATLGR27 for a discount.
But if just needing 1 little light then go a51.

I know the guys at Hioptix. They are nice and have a great product for the most part. I definitely have some constructive criticism on the design...but the components in it are all quality.

They know near nothing about growing plants. I had my PAR meter at the max yield show and blew their mind. They had good numbers in a general speaking...but was just some quick readings at some guestimated distances. The spread is my biggest question other than the vertical height needed for just the fixture alone...then clearance form a spot source like it it. Greenhouses for sure could get great use from it...passively cooled with those big ass radiators too. But controlled indoor environments are going to be a tough sell with the design.
They were a high bay design/light...that happens to work and they are transitioning. Similar to lighting sciences story...which is successful...and crazy enough so is hps.
Anyways... they are worth a look if they fit someones space/style. I could
I m an apache tech/A51 supporter now and it took me 2 months and 1200 to figure it out. The proof is in the pudding. I struck down AT/A51 when I first got here, but journals and logs don't lie. Sure I like my KIND, but it will most likely end up in propagation area soon. Area 51 ones do interest me. 2 RW150 for 800 or 4 RW 75 for around the same. I have seen the light though! I feel good about my self to! I got it after 2 months! Real styles? How long u been here?????

You guys keep bringing up that I survived something that would have killed you and left you a dummy. You guys keep bringing up I had brain damage, but the funny thing is I'm back at my full potential. My mind, my body is at it's most. I have almost died, I've been shot and was hit by a car at the age of 15. You guys can think what you want and say what ever. I just got you guys mad and I wasn't even trying too. Imagine if I tried. I'm just stating what I read and how I feel about USA led lights and I remember the"Thread that said don't buy china junk" some of you guys called out Mars lights, but what about Black Dog Led the same fucking lights. The difference was they had the nerve to say Black Dog is USA based company.

Sad thing guys I have grown for a dispensary for a couple of years before I quit and I love growing so don't get me wrong when I call retailers out for misinformation. I don't like to be lied to. I can afford to buy any of those lights. I have $9000 left on my led light research and why over pay. From what I've gathered so far DIY is the way to go. I feel sorry for the guys who can't learn like the most of us. Oh yeah the computer that I'm using is the 1 I built in 2009.

My best friend has a son that's been dealing with a Closed Head Injury (brain damage) from a car accident 14 years ago,now 30 years old. Realstyles your behavior is erratic and your not better than ever, not sure if you were this way before your CHI. Maybe you were a troll before it.

Damn hit the ignore button already, you sound sour. I can't help it that I'm amused by your behavior and you calling me erratic. I'm trying not to clown you. Because you're doing it to yourself. Go back read our post and think real hard.

@Greengenes707

"1 for 1 with a 1K hps."

I saw your YouTube video and the 656g yield. Have you gotten more since? "Lots" of people seem to be able to hit .75+ gpw with hps of all sizes, some even 1+ gpw, maybe not a 250 but I did see on a forum, or maybe a YouTube, 1lb from a 400. And 2+ lbs from a 1000.

A lot of that is probably strain related though. They could be running super high yielding strains just to push the numbers. I'd be interested in your thoughts on how you think those plants in your video did for what strain they were.

Omg everybody just walk away from it all. And get back to every one asking the same blessed questions over and over instead of putting in any initiative, common sense into their options, or just need recognition that they know the right secision-with something actually worth a shit from someone every six months. (Like cap'n's drop about the Vero 51 panels, thanks cap- still not buying one though. Lol, never again)

Take care dudes

You are ignoring the fact that they have a plant in north carolina. They make chips in the US. A51 isnt saying anything explicitly about usa over china. Theyre saying they use chips made in the US. Until you know otherwise, stfU and quit trying to stir the shit?

Full disclosure: i do not use and never have used a51 gear. Just dont get mudmouth on a company that seems to being doing their best not to deceive their customers. People read your posts and when you say things in ignorance (you dont know where they make the xte's) you are the one deceiving people.

Oh for sure, it's stupid expensive. But I wouldn't buy a Harley, Benelli, Ferrari, or a Yetti cooler unless I had money to blow. (Hey I never realized how many expensive things end with I.) BUT IF I DID... yeah maybe still not these lights, but they look badass

My 433W veg and 378 bloom light I made cost me $700 each. Do I call it a African American made LED?
