Hi everyone,

This is my first post.

Im preparing my first indoor, and want to use LED. I will use a Grow Tent, 48 by 24 by 60-Inch.

Im want to know how many W it's good for my grow tent.

Im thinking os use a 240w veg/flow, and one 90w flow.

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005ZTJ980/ref=ox_sc_act_title_3?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A3OEBC6KVS6M5W

It's good? Or should I buy more w? like 450?

Anyone know about that led brand?

Thanks for help

Setting up my first grow (first post!?!).

I have a 2x4x5 tent and a solarflare 200w in the mail. Doing dwc with some help on the ponics but lights !

I really like the solarflare and originally my budget was a bit tighter. I'm torn between getting a veg tent (2x2) and something like that area51 light or the 400w storm for this 2x4 at flowering time, or seeing if the solarflare yields ok in this tent. would a 90w LED of some variety be a good supplement to growing and a smaller light for veg be adequate? I have 1 large closet so this is basically max space for me.

This is my first post and have a question.
Can you grow with led bulbs which you can buy at homedepot (brands like Philips, Cree, etc..)?

Yes, you can. Theres a couple threads here, maybe a page or so back with great examples. Petflora and captainmorgancome to mind. Check them out.

Agreed....

For the time being, those two the only one i can afford/get fast. I know it's quite cheap. My plants now entering 3rd week, and rain season just started. No more outdoor growing. i planning on moving them inside indoor growing. At least please tell me which one is better?

No idea which one's better.

I'd go buy a pack of x6 42W CFL's before I'd ever touch either one of those pieces of shit. lol

Hey Psuagro, can I assume the WW floods are the way to go with those Cree floods? I guess I can go check pet flora's or captains thread. I have an sgs-160 that I'm loving but a couple little manageable led floods like those would be great to fill shaded spots in the sides I would think.

Alright, I am humbling myself and asking you all for some help. I have been looking for a few weeks at the led's and what they have to offer. My wife doesn't want me to use more than a certain amount of electricity so I am going to switch over to LEDS for my veg and another veg/flower tent. I am looking at the UFO's on amazon right now and I am trying to be realistic here but would two of them work for a 3x3?

Do you mind advising on what size pots for these lights? and thank you for the links, two of the four fit my picture of what I want in the room just gotta hold out and wait till my budget gets a little bigger.

Hi guys, my grow would be like the left one, but I think I can get more of the space by upgrading it like this:

Questions:
1-Looking for the best area usage, what u guys think about the upgrade?
2-What LEDs would u suggest? (Watts and brands.. I mean, Im still wondering which one to pick)

That's all, thanks.

I just wanted to thank you guys for the info, I decided to go with the advanced led diamond series 300w x2 ... the money for it is pretty pricey but you know what.. better than wasting my time with a ufo.
