if you can grow in hydro could you float a plant in a swamp and get it to work?

could i float ann inner tube with say sphagnum moss stuffed in it and float it out in the swamp lands? would it drown? watcha think

Moving water works, native americans planted some crops in streams, anchored them down, aeration is key, Swamps have a good amount of air, I'm just not sure. If you could get a really good climatized plant... It may work

floating them in swamp just wont work, it needs aeration and ferts. you can plant them like 10-20ft near the swamp edge, the ground there would be moist enough but not too wet
