Democrats aren't a monolithic organization. You seem to think that all Democrats must be progressive. Not all of them are. And they shouldn't be. 10 Democrats, hanging on in 10 states that voted strongly for Trump voted for Rick Perry and you seem to think that's the end of resistance.

It's not. They voted for Rick Perry. They didn't vote for Banning Muslims or to Deregulate Wall Street or to make Trump an Emperor. Legislators should represent their district. I agree that there are some boundaries that shouldn't be crossed if a legislator is a Democrat but voting for Rick Perry isn't one of them.

Look elsewhere.

Then don't call yourself a Democrat. Caucus with the Republicans if your district wants you to vote Republican. Democrats are supposed to represent Democratic interests.
