I can recommend the LCS in London On. Great folks and superb medicine. Fair prices and they ship reasonably in Ontario anyway. Not sure if they ship further. They are The London compassion society.
Just trying to help those who are stuck buying from these fucked LP's we got going.
No I have no affiliation with them but do highly recommend them.

As long as their system remains in place, if you need product for medical purposes, they make great product at fair prices.

and that's the prob, hippy, you cry about mmpr, but pay more towards a dispensary. and risk being arrested. give it time things will work out on there own. and will bring the price down. I agree the system is fucked but in time this will be proved to be a solid thing for all. the small L.P will take care of the patients and give out the best meds. and no have the same strains as all L.P

Agreed but some patients still want the CHEAPEST option, which is to grow their own. LP's aren't even a part of that consideration, small or not. For those who cannot grow for themselves, sure I completely agree.

I keep hearing about the fabled "small LP" and "in time it will work itself out". Which is all fine and great for some, but what about those so sick time isn't really a luxury they can afford? Should they not have been receiving quality medicine from the start? Maybe it's just me, but I'll risk being arrested (any charges I get will be dropped by any decent marijuana lawyer anyway) to use quality medicine that works over being "legal" and having to use bunk "medicine" that wouldn't give me any relief anyway.

^ this is the key issue.
100%.

Until quality LPs (let's face it - not all 'small LPs' will be quality) come to the plate it's a tough spot to be in.

Hey guys,

My mom has pretty bad arthritis pain in her hand and am considering a dispensary to acquire marijuana cream. I live in Toronto and was thinking about CALM. There is also TCC though. Any expert opinion about which dispensary is best for the marijuana cream (price and quality)?

Thanks

Yeah work it self out.... I'm with ya on that man .... when has anything to do with money ever worked itself out for the consumer.... usually the consumer gets fucked more when things get the "worked itself out" by business

Oh consumer and easily be swapped for patient in this case

Well I have purchased from them yes, It's only one outlet for me. I agree it seems weird to poo poo the LP's but recommend the LCS. LSC lowest price is $5 gram up to $7 a gram. They do offer lower alternatives for those who can't pay that.
Comparing the compassion clubs to the LP's is hard for me. I have only been to a few CC's. The Toronto ones were very high priced. But I have spoken with other out of Toronto clubs that have better pricing.
My main reason to suggest the LCS was for those who need it now, they are ready. There are folks on here who have NO MEDS right now I wanted to help them right now. I will say I like the LCS folks and the way they do it. Pretty relaxed atmosphere and a great choice of edibles. extracts, bud and other items. I know a few folks who purchase there regularly and they are quite pleased with the experience. And they are up and ready for those who are out. If you join properly with the right papers.
Why did you say risk being arrested? I don't understand your reference. I have not herd of anyone being arrested . They have been in business for 20 years almost. so I guess it may have happened. But if your a legal patient, hows is that going to happen. The dispensary is easy to find. So i'm sure the fuzz knows where they are and don't seem concerned. From what I have seen the LCS operates a very tight ship and keeps good records. You see i'm cool with dispensaries or compassion clubs because the patient still has a choice. Kind of like going to a store. You can join any one and shop as you please.

Maybe he was talking about the fact that LCS was raided before, and the owner ( who is a nice guy ) was charged.
Granted, that was awhile ago...

Hey Jackal. I feel for you man. I assume your out. I know it sounds like I'm shilling for LCS, but I'm not. I have no stake in them at all. Just trying to help. It busts my heart to hear people are out of meds and are struggling to fill the need. Been there myself sorry to say. It's just I know the meds they have are top shelf. They do mail order if that helps you. If you become a member they will give you the password to their menu. Their extracts are superb as well. They are open Monday so if you Email over the weekend maybe they will get you to call Monday. I dunno how they do things. Hope I may have helped you a bit. If not, no problem.

You'd have to register with them first.....think you can DL the forms off their website.... you might have to send a copy of your ATP honestly can't remember what all was required

Before I went legal ( almost now wishing I had not) when I couldn't find a reliable source on the BM, the BCCCS allowed a nurse practitioner to sign my papers for me and it was a pretty thorough application. I will always be great flu that I had a constant source. The difference for me now is that as I have withdrawn from a massive dose of morphine, my daily amount has increased to the point where it was no longer economical for me to purchase it.

I'm sure a faxed copy of it is all they'd need. Maybe some other ID to confirm it's you. You would NOT have to give them your ATP. The old system didn't work that way. All you needed to do was show them your ATP. I would never give that away to anyone. If the LP's wants it send them a color copy....Looks just like the original. Never give up your original. From what I remember they don't even require a copy. Just need to see it once the first time they join you up. And joining is free. So a faxed version should work.
I know a guy who does their mail order and is super happy with it. He lives in Ontario though.
