a study has shown that MMJ with morphine, will allow you to take less morphine and if pain is your issue you actually feel less pain with less morphine. weird but true

This is the case with my son....actually it allowed him to switch from morphine to very low dosage of methadone ( which is used by a few doctors for pain relief ). Low dosage methadone and mm is WAY more preferable to high dosages of morphine.

2-4 weeks for membership with LCS, so emailed them to see if they deliver this far. Edmonton CC website seems to be down hope they didn't get raided. I hate LP hell.

They don't update their site often (small operation, only 2-3 people) but they are definitely functioning, far as I know anyway. I was just there on Monday and it was the busiest I've ever seen it.

Yeah website isn't working for me either, but it was the other day so might just be a server issue or something. Yes they will do mail order. Like I said though it's a small operation so the selection isn't always the best, they usually only carry 10-15 different strains at a time.

compare that to 3-4 strains of only high THC most LP's are putting out atm seems like they are 3x more than the LP option

Yeah the LPs really need to work on their variety. I couldn't imagine being a new patient and having to jump through 95757697 hoops just to sample the different meds out there. Only to find it's just a small fraction of what is ACTUALLY available. I've been using cannabis over half my life now and I still enjoy sampling new strains and seeing how they affect me compared to previous ones and my "go to" ones.

too many damn issues with MMPR, not even one consistent good story so far..... like dangling the carrot in front of the horse

even if you find the right strain at your chosen LP... who's to say that will even be available to you next time you try to order it..... unless they say have a patient capacity of 1000 patients and they grow 4 different strains.... so they grow enough if all their patients ordered only one of the strains at one order.... like how the hell do they think this is going to work with the 13 LP's we have right now ... it makes no sense so far..... it makes me want to grow my own

Jeez that seems like a long time. Is that what they said eh? I bet if you scan and email your ATP and a photo ID of some sort they will put you thru faster. Tell them you have zero meds and are in need of some ASAP. I think they may be able to get you in faster...I hope. They have some really nice meds so I hope your able to order. Ask for the Xpresspost or even Priority courier (next day delivery) costs more but is quick.
Send me a PM if you want any recommends. Hint the extracts are superb. Highly recommend Oil Extracts if you want a heavy hit with the least bother. Smoked from an oil rig they are great.

Well LCS carries the same ones all the time. They also have special arrivals and limited editions. I like the way they do things.

I think the 2-4 weeks is for people that don't have an ATP, just waiting to hear back from them. Having the ATP should show that I already have doctors approve plus the almighty HC approval ..... but people that just have a doctors letter might need that confirmation check as a letter can pretty easily be forged.

Well being a long weekend I don't know if they are working or answering mail. I forgot Monday is a holiday. Ya you got the paper work needed so I'd think you be in pretty quick.

I took 30ml of methadone 3 times a day until I couldn't take it anymore and I quit cold turkey after about 4 months. That was a rough few days. I believe it's called Opioid Induced Hyperalgesia. The more opiates you take the more pain you have. I was really hoping that was my problem. Unfortunately the more I come off the morphine, the less things change. I started at 1000mg/ day and 20 months later I'm fighting 100mg/day withdrawals at about 9 hours in. I have had no change in pain. I was just becoming more and more tolerant. I was at "watchful dose"...fuckin' wcb buzzwords for don't you dare increase that dosage. And that is exactly what they told my doc.

I hope your doctor told them to fuck themselves, nothing ever changes with WCB and their horror stories they inflict on ppl.
I feel for ya man, sorry you have to go through this kinda thing.

Ketamine infusions every other month have really helped, I wish OHIP allowed them monthly...
