hello peeps

ive been hanging out in the plant problem area helping out

I have given advise to some peeps on the fox farm nutes

I have to come forward to say;

i had the info keyed in wrong and missed a decimal point in the math in the micro brew

had the p and K labeled 3% and 2% when its actually 0.3% and 0.2%

i just tried to help another person and realized the mistake

unfortunately i don't remember who had the fox farm nutes so i can go back to see if what i gave them is bad or good... theres a possibility we didn't use the micro brew in the formula but im not sure

fox farm nutes are terrible

the only advise i will give on them in the future is "don't use them"

the micro nutes are all over the place, the derived from info is flawed and the % info is flawed
the ratios suck, theres to many bottles

bottle says derived from magnesium sulfate and then lists zero magnesium in the % info (wtf)

and they contain zero calcium

im putting my head on the chopping block with this post
im sure i will catch shit from those who use fox farm nutes...im not saying it cant be used successfully im saying there are far better and easier nutes to mix than what fox farm has to offer

if your in soil (buffer) and want to use an organic nute maybe its for you... but if your in hydro, don't use it

im hoping to keep it at the top and maybe find those i gave advise to so i can correct my error

if the micro brew was used in the formula itll end up a little light in K possibly which isn't the end of the world ... but i hate to give bad advise

I'm in FFOF/HF mix with 30% perlite. I'm using GO box nutes and they're terrible IMO. I was thinking of fox farm nutes instead....but now you have me questioning those. What should I use?

I'm also using FF nutrients but in soil. Can you recommend a better organic nutrient set? I'm all ears as I'm not completely satisfied with FF at the moment. I use the correct amounts they list and it is always way too much for my plants

i haven't had the chance to look at the go box yet

are you bent on the organic nutes?
Not in particular. Just want the stuff to work and not ruin my plants. I'm honestly growing for quality over quantity of that helps? But quantity is deff something I'd like to have a lot of too lol

if someone want to post the % info on the go box bottles i will examine them

i can get good formulas from

general hydro 3 part easy to mix and good ratios (directions are close)
general hydro flora nova and grow 1 part(easy to mix and good ratios directions are good)

botincare ir remember having good numbers

advanced nutes(bad directions and over priced) but good nutes

technaflora (bad directions and over priced) but good nutes

fertilizer is fertilizer no matter the brand and no matter there ridiculous claims

all that matters is if you can get the ratios between elements in order with the 1 to 5 bottles they provide

the fewer bottles the better
they like to split it into as many different bottles as they can so they can sell more shit to take your money

the fox farm has way to many bottle required and the end result is junk and out of ratio

speaking in terms of organic fertilizers

the reason to use organic fertilizer is to be environmentally friendly

salt fertilizers are stripped from the earth mining for mineral and destroying the environment

along with the fertilizer waste from big agriculture leaching into the missisppi river and pouring into the gulf of mexico
inorganic fertilizer has very little to do with your personal health

i stay concerned with using organic/safe pesticides and herbicides
those are the chems that will affect your health

i buy organic foods to avoid the pesticides and herbicides,,, not because its grown in manure

lime73

Weed Modifier
Found them for biothrive grow and bloom though its Only 2/ out of the 8 that come in box.
