Look up monster cropping... clones taken intentionally about 28 days into flower will yield massive amounts of branching... can be good if that's what you're lookin' for...

Edit: I think it was 28 days anyway. Just look it up, rather than go by my approx.

Yup, what they said. I enjoy monster cropping. This was a pretty developed bud when I clipped it and I've never topped, fimmed, LST, or anything else. Pretty fing bushy.

you can take the cutting and let it root IN flower if you wanna
i pulled an extra 3 n 1/2 Oz off a wonder haze by rooting the stretch in flower and finishing them(5 tops) in flower

ya but don't be surprised if it takes an extra 3-4 days to root and if your success rate drops dramatically

thats impressive. how long will it typically take to root and how late in flower can you take. also is ther a better location on the plant to tak cuttings from while in flower?

You need to be way way more patient when you take cuttings that have been induced to 12 12. It can actually take up to a month for some of the clones to root depending on the hormone level of the plant. You most certainly will want to use a rooting hormone of some type when taking cuttings from a plant with its photo period started, i know that this method will work 100% successfully. how long it will take i could not tell you and what grow medium are you using? i would take dip n grow dilute it for softwoods let your clones set in that for about 45 seconds a piece and when you take the clone scuff the outside of where you want the roots to be with a razor blade really lightly, then if you are in rock-wool get some root accelerator and superthirve and make up a gallon with there instructions and let your medium set in that and then place the clones in your medium and put them in the dome and just through the dome in with your mamas it will take about 18 to 20 days probably for a majority of them to root so if you are far into flowering and are taking your next girls you are going to more than likely go else where for your new baby's if you are trying to perpetual harvest.
