im back!

So I'm back after a year of not being able to grow. Last time I was using aeroponics, now I'm doing an ebb and flow setup. I have 8 plants that just popped in grodon and I'm using a 400w white light(can't remember which is which), a 2x4x5 tent, 15 gallons of water, floraduo nutrients, and I have a venting setup, but I'm not happy with the flow. It gets upwards to 100f in my tent. Its in a closet so the kids can't get to it.

I have 3 fans and a carbon filter. I would like to keep the smell down, and vent it properly.

2 of the fans are small 5 inch fans that are just a fan inside a metal shield, and the other fan is a big black one that has 5 inch in and out ports. Its funny shaped. Sorry I don't know but I got then free off a friend.

any advice or help would be great. Thanks.

Oh, also, my tray is 2x4, and currently it is sitting ontop of my 2 Rubbermaid tubs. One of which is my res. I would really like to be able to keep my 400w mh a good distance from the plants so I don't burn them, but as is right now its maybe 3ft away, and that's the max height I'll be able to get from it. I was trying to find a 15g or bigger flat Rubbermaid for my res. Like an under-the-bed style.

I would just say to use soil. Ah - only kidding. You seem to know what ur doing. Oh, and Welcome Back!!

So I ended up cutting a hole through the drywall on the side of my closet, so I could suck cold air in from the hallway. Temps are at 75 at night and 79 in the morning. Now I need to know how to set up my carbon filter to help with the smell.

i dont know why the light is causing the black lines with my camera. it was wierd. anyways, theres some pics of my setup. i had to build the tent in the closet. it wouldnt fit through the door built.
