Im having a hard time understanding some things about my ppms and ph levels I have a aeroponics and a fish tank bubbleponics my aeroponics ph levels fluxuates so much Im constantly changing them and plants look not so good. My bubbleponics I HARDLY EVEN CHECK and they look the best I THEN CHECK my ppms and ph and the ppms were 11oo (so high because I ADDED SOME EPSOM SALTS ) and my ph was at 7.4 why do the bubbleponics doing so much better Is there anybody that can help please I wonder if i should just let my ph do what it wants in my aeroponics I wonder if im doing more damage to them by changing it all the time.

Ph issues (using oneness humbolt nutes) how can I keep my ph normal 5.8 always rises up to 6.5 7.0 or higer

Any time you use a lot of air your pH levels are going to rise... i use air stones underneath all of my pots and I just keep using a little pH down and this does the trick... Air will always raise your pH... But its all good and easily fixed...:wink:

ILL try that to I also filled my res to twenty gallons instaid of ten but now I see my res is 25 gallons not 20 thanks for your help much appreciated
was also wondering i forgot to buy sea cal that helps with nitrogen i guess does epsom salts really help with that proplem or should I get some sea cal right away cant really afford it until after xmas wondering if there is anything else that would help

so I should keep my res totally full now that you say that I do have or did have until I just filled it a water fall droping into my res

also I have my water runnig (my pump) turns on fifteen on and thirty off is that ok or should i keep the water off longer this is my first time doing this and I chose to go the hardest route having some problems but will not give up until I have mastered it .

ya I have two holes in top of res cover and water coming out of fence post droping into res was also wondering if a pieace of alluminum would have any affect on my water have it there to help guide water into res
also have some in dirt that I only had to add water (used seedling stater soil thats how I started them all but it seems like they go into a little shock when i transplant them (maybe do to ph diffrence not sure should i just start them in the hydroton thats my medium

does anybody have any info on the nitrogen I talked about
