I'm ready to grow but I need to know if this setup will work

Hey rollitup members.

I've got some AK47 seeds I got from marijuana-seeds.nl and I've bought a 400W MH bulb with ballast and reflector and a 400w HPS bulb.

As well as running one of these bulbs I'll also be running a 6"-10" duct/inline exhaust fan (havent decided on which one to purchase yet) and also a small inexpensive water pump in my reservoir attached to a hose and spray nozzle for watering. I will probably be plugging in a oscillating fan too.

Now my power concern is that I only have one power board in my grow room running off a single power outlet some 100m away attached by extension cable. The grow is in an exterior building to the house.

Will all these run okay on that power?

Secondly I've bought a heap of Vermiculite, Perlite and peat moss. I plan on doing a mixture of 25% perlite, 25% vermiculite and 50% peat moss.

This should make a fine nutrient free medium yes?

Lastly, nutrients. I bought 1L of Dutchmaster One Grow and 1L of Dutchmaster One Flower. I understand these are for hydroponic growing.

Will they still work fine with a soil grow?

Thank you so much if you've taken the time to read this and assist me :)

A 100 meter extension cord? That doesn't sound so good. I would have a dedicated circuit run to the building with underground cable and put good outlets in. Electricity is nothing to fool with.

Wait no probably 20-30m extension cord. I was guessing the distance but it cant be that because the extension cord is no longer than 30m. Forgot about that :P How much would that cost normally to do? I dont think I could afford it.

try using a third peat,a third perlite and a third vermiculite, works for me,i add slightly more
perlite than vermiculite for better aeration, you might need some lime to get the right ph in the soil,
test the ph of the peat as the perlite and vermiculite don't add to ph,anything from 6.2 to near 7
works well for me ;)

you lose current the longer the cord is. I don't think you could even run the light off that. And if you do, it might damage the ballast/bulb. Probably around $500 to run a dedicated circuit out there.

I've talked to an electrician and I might be able to get it done cheap, he's an old school mate. I'll see how it goes. Also thanks for the medium info, I've got a PH meter on the way so I'll do just that :)

Nute's are down to you ,budget and all that stuff has to be factored in,i'm not in the u.s.a. ,i use canna terra nute's,
they work for me few things to remember are,use veg nute's for veg stage, flowering nute's for flowering, sound's simple
but it is easy to get confused with all the stuff available out there, secondly the most expensive nute's are not necessarily
the best one's,shop around both in store's and online to get the best deal that suits both your grow and your pocket!
Happy Growing!
